Feeling pretty good after picking 5 winnerrrrrrrrrs last week :D

Rosewater v Blackfriars... 35 points - Rosies very strong at home and should be able to see off BOS
Elizabeth v Ingle Farm... 135 points - Elizabeth love thrashing bottom sides ;)
Pulteney v Plympton... 13 points - I'm impressed by Plympton, they work hard and are very skillful. I think their hard-running will get them over the line here
Hope Valley v Westminster... 20 points - I think HV will be fired up to bounce back from last week's result
Kenilworth v Smithfield... 35 points - For back-to-back wins :D

I hope that this isnt the case as its the club where i first ever touched the footy. Have got great memories (kicked my first ever goal) and mates even family that still play there. Sorry if it has already been spoken about on here and put to rest but when i was told i didnt really believe it. I did hear it last year and never heard about it again until last night. What i was made aware of was the council have not been paid by the club at all for any rates and so on and thats why it came up last year. If this is true, is that the main reason? or is it something else? I would like to know because it is a great club and has some great people there and it still has centimental value.

lol: Yes this does come up quite a bit.(every year as a matter of fact) let me put it to bed, council get paid, we don`t have a bill in the world, other than ongoing expenses(elect, booze and the like) we are in the black and have been for quite a few years now. Will be some big new`s regarding the club coming up soon, watch this space. Have a very good committee at the moment and moving forward(slowly). ;)

No worries mate I hope I havent caused any greif. The council thing was one thing that was told to me but there was some other info that I'll keep away. I hope there are some bigger and better things that happen down there.

Bigger and better things – hope so – some people doing some good work behind the scenes. A long way off yet but as you can see from the Rosewater FC web site, small steps have been taken. (http://www.rosewaterfc.com.au/news-item ... -clubrooms and http://www.rosewaterfc.com.au/events/se ... lding-fund)

Would be good for the area to see the only original and oldest football clubs in the area get a face lift!

I had a look at the statement that RFC posted. Geez you guys have a good site. Sh!ts all over ours. It should be good if you can get it offf the ground. Hey does rosies still have the meatand chicken raffle go on. I remember as a kid the led machine going through the numbers and the winners screaming after there number had come up. We used to win it a bit. Had sh!t loads of food and bbq's because of it. The O'neils were running the canteen back then and i think Chantelle was the trainer (her husband was grant i reckon) and it was when one of the Cockatoo-Collins twins was drafted. I think it was Donald. Cant remember.

Yeh it is one of the better sites around – not finished yet
Yes the meat monster is still going – Friday nights now, not Sundays and the LED Machine, although still working, has been replaced by a touch screen computer hooked into the big tv. And it was Michelle – still there, junior pres atm and on the senior committee and running the over 35s with Grant.
Interestingly, David, Donald and Trent Ormond Allen all got drafted to the same club in Melbourne.
