OK - as long as Roo and Modra are under $35k, then we are all fine and good, acknowledging both are really only playing half a season

Notwithstanding, I think you'll find neither are getting paid. Roo said he'd play when we moved pubs and Modra is just playing for the hell of it after Roo suggested it over 4 million beers one night....but hey...... what would I know

Rumour has it that Ricciuto is paying himself from the Pub from his sponsorship money............so that wouldn't be included in the salary cap?

Has someone said that we dont pay players? We are like every other team - we are allowed to pay as long as we stick within the rules. What, and whom, we pay is our business. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't have any idea if they were being paid or not, but agree with you on being worth every cent. Only have to ask the Fitzroy lads - watching Roo and Nelly go at it was a good afternoon, as well as having 30 beers.....

Modra was actually targetted to get some extra crowds out to D4 games
