The 116 point margin last week is the 2nd highest in Reserves finals that I know of - I am missing 20 full time scores since 1950, 16 of those in the 1960s'.

The highest was 156 points by South against North in the Elimination Final of 1995 - 36.10 (226) to 10.10 (70).

The 95 point margin the Qualifying Final is the 8th highest I know of.

That's some good news out of today for me, after being at Footy Park. I'll definitely go along to see the Reserves play next week.

Now if we could just win tomorrow...

Another good game. Well done Eagles. Oakley again with 3 goals, Vince, Earl & Hall all named in best players. Surely these guys have to be damn close to selection in the league side. Norwood next week will be a test but having said that have beaten them 2 out of 3 times this year. Would be a remarkable turn around to make the GF considering we didn't win our first game until round 8 and before that round only had 1 point courtesy of a drawn game against port in round 6 and that was only due to port's inaccuracy in front of goal. Great effort boys, keep it up.
