Yep, Browny - both featured in our best as well as our U18's superstar Matty Hellmans who played his first A grade game on the weekend and featured in the best players too.

He is playing in our 18's side, so very young. But loads of talent and once he gets to know the senior blokes and gets familiar with our game plan he will be a great player for us

always an exciting thing getting a few good kids into the line up, I think we had 4 or 5 teenagers which is encouraging.

Most definatley, the hardest thing for amateur clubs unfortunately is keeping these kids at the club. Most kids that have a bit of talent through the junior ranks end up chasing the bucks in div1 or out in the country if they dont make it in the sanfl.

what was the story of the game - pulteney v plympton and valley v w'minster - was it a blow out in one or two quarters or did the lead get extended during the game?

Pulteney v Plympton:

Any way wel done to pultney, showed more desperation when it counted and decision making was way better than ours. Thought Ian Perrie was sensational today around the ground and kicked 2 or 3 important last qtr goals from long range too.
I think Plympton werent too far away today even though we had a few out but pultneys skill and toughness was excellent today!!! Both teams will feature come september! Well done to the magoos too!

Really good game of footy for 3qtrs in the 1s, the biggest margin was 11 points i think, which was the 3qtr time margin, then early in the 4th POS went chk chk boom with a couple and the game was dead, POS got a few in junk time which blew out the score. dissapointing that plympton didnt quite play the game out, but once POS got their tails up they were like a runaway locomotive!

Interesting in the guts coz it appeared that we won about 90% of the taps, and got about 10% of the clearances. good midfielders read opposition rucks as well, we were struggling to read our own rucks!!!

Anyone on here from pulteney land, i have a request... Can something be done about that scoreboard?? its tiny, you can't see the score that well from the other side of the ground with those tiny skinny numbers, especially when your already contending with the sun. And can something be done about the scoreboard "attendant", the word attendant being used extremely loosely, as it appeared that he was only giving updates every 10 minutes or so...

Pultney v Plympton Pultney led at every change 1 pt 3 pts & 11pts 3/4 time and started to run away half way in the last bombing at the goals. Perrie 3 late goals couldnt contain him as Plympton ran out of puff they are now the bench mark of div5 watch out for Blackfriars as they seem to be putting it all together after a slow start. Plympton should learn from their fade out. Good tough game as you would expect from the 2 top teams
