We r just that good! ;) CT adds that his boys played absolute shit against Paralowie. But today suffered a few injuries so hes not happy lol

I wasnt there for B Grade today but i know they all came in a bus so it cant have been travel issues.

Im told our A Grade should have been some what the same, no disrespect intended towards the Lockleys boys but our boys should have won by a much higher margin then they did. Out of the about 10 set shots at goal in the last half, Trinity only managed to kick 2 of them straight! Im pretty sure TOS boys will pay dearly for this at training Tues and Thurs  Also had the chubby umpire that wears a hat he is a totally digrace of an umpire, i hate watching the game when he is in the centre totally distroys the game for both teams, the other umpire today even addressed him on the oval and made him switch sides. I think he gave Lockleys at least 3 - 4 of their goals today. CT says that he didnt favour Lockleys but he made some shocking decisions for both sides.

Yeah thats Trevor. Worst umpire in the SAAFL by a fair stretch. Had him on numerous occasions over the past few yrs and has turned each of those games into absolute debacles. I think all div 6 clubs should band together and vow to boycott games until he is removed! SAAFL take notice!

Wellmits good that we werntthe only ones that had him and didnt agrre with the way he umpires, he is an absolute dicgrace.. I olknow its hard to get umps but for an umpire to ruin a game like he does, do you need umpires like that... The question has to be asked

Great game of footy at Daly oval yesterday, great last qtr. with the lead changing 3-4 times , Heccies are sure to be around the mark come finals. I thought number 11 for heccies (Wootten i think) was bog, smooth mover with good skills but noticed in the paper that Fransisco was best (if you can go by the paper) was he the number 9 that keep some 37 yo full forward to 2 goals

yeh pete fransico was #9. got BOG for presentations as well. pauly got 2nd. i think paul has about $300 of vouchers at the oakden sitting at home from BOG so not getting BOG is not the end of the world for him  pete was pretty sick and wouldnt of played but due to injuries and that we were playing BL he ended up playing. provided plenty of run from defense as well.
for the record he kept payney to 1 goal and that 37 year old had kicked 48 goals before yesterday. but i would have put wootton bog as well.

clg-glenunga game was a good game to watch..glenunga fought hard admirably all day and its shows that the club is not going to fold..only one player in their team, a young small kid with one hell of a rats tail went around kneeing clg boys until he eventually got sent off, but it was good to see that the other glenunga boys didnt support that behaviour. glenunga have a couple of young small midfielders that were quite impressive, but clg had some players that just ran rings around the glenunga boys

Mypaddock or anybody that seen the heccies game. What were your thoughts on the way we played?.The way you guys played? Where we were good or bad? Any good players? nWHere we could be exposed in the future?

Also what was the feeling like at the club saturday night after 2 very close losses the last 2 weeks? Are the club still upbeat?

Think you guys were good but weren't used to any real pressure, which we applied all day. We didn't let you have the freedom which you have been used to all year.
Sibbick was very good and Payne, although he didn't get much of it, was very damaging when he got it and kicked an awesome goal deep in the last quarter. Smart footballer.

We are still very upbeat, and with the players we had out, I thought the boys played very well and could have snatched a win but it wasn't to be.
Now the onus is on us to beat everyone below and get that 3rd spot and hopefully another crack at BL and CLG!

the mood was very different compared to the clg loss. i think we thought that we should have beat clg compared to the BL game which was pretty even and could have gone either way. darren gave us a bit of a spray after clg compared to BL where he was proud of the effort we put in. i know people say injuries arent an excuse but when you are playing an undefeated team with a few of your best players and to have the attitude that you can still win shows some good signs esp with such a young team. we had 15 players 21 years old or under. saying that we were still very dissapointed to lose.

i personally thought you guys looked a bit flat at the start. maybe just wasnt use to the pressure or expecting an easier opponent? as i said before though, i was really impressed with the ball movement from defense to midfield and i think the quality of your big players is prob your biggest advantage in the comp. i think the standard has been set over the past two weeks for what to expect in finals and if any teams play an average game they are going to lose.

but as a few players said after the match, we just have to focus on the next few weeks. got lockleys and trinity coming up. both games are worth double points basically.

also from the BL v heccies match, what did people think of the umps? both were first years (had green shirts on). i would have thought saafl would always have at least one snr ump. i thought they were pretty good. made a few dodgey calls and were a bit touchy on some things. werent bias and they had control of the game though which lacked a lot the last time we met and prob resulted in both teams getting frustrated.

I thought the umpiring was the worst we have had all year. They never cheated for either team but were just very bad. They payed every ticky touch free kick and just wanted to be noticed. The classic example was the whole point fiasco. Surely these blokes get paid more than every bloke that played on saturday they would know the rules. I really wish they would only pay the major free kicks and let all the other stuff go. I have not been critical of the umpires all year. Just this one time

heccies pressure was great all day, your right we are not used to it..

if you think payney played well, you should see him play when he actually does play well.

im almost certain heccies will finish 3rd and have a crack and will be a good chance to play in the grand final
