gdp,

r1 `chances 1,3,8,9 i think 8 will be a value bet in this, i just hope toddy drives it with a bit more patience this week
r2 chances in an open race 3,5,7,9,10 the value would be 7 but it may get too far back early, its up to you whether you take that punt or not
r3 only two possible winning hopes 1,7 the prices will decide what i do, while 6,8 for the multis (i have rated the 1 @ 6/4 & the 7 @ 1/2)
r4 main chances to 7,8,9,10 with top pick 8, for place/multi hopes to 3,4,5
r5 only two winning hopes 1,7 with next best 6 i think 1 will be too short so i'll be on 7 (probably place)
r6 3 will lead & win (rated 4/9) for multis 2,5,8 while 1 could sneak third from draw best chance for second is 2
r7 in an open race 3,5,6,7,10 the value probably is 10
r8 top two 1,2 with 3,5 multi hopes
r9 main chances 4,5,7,8

if you just want to win this is the bet to have
r6 no3 win
otherwise an
allup
r3 no 1 place
r4 no 8 place
r5 no 7 place
r6 no 3 win

good luck on the punt

Globe Derby

Postby SCD » Sat Sep 23, 2006 11:34 am

Globe Derby tonight..

R1 - Huge drop in class for Striking Albert provided Butler doesn't think the winning post is half way down the back straight.
R4 - Zerrafoss has come back better then ever and should take another win along the way.
R5 - No Service should sit on these and just beat them.. Tony Dean has a tendancy to over-race and may cook Lord Larry in the middle stages. Kia Kaha is going terrible and Robbo is driving even worse.
R9 - Wrekognise is going good (all the Preston horses are) and should be hard to beat.. considering horses like La Charm (with 1 win, 0 placings and $1,400 prize money in the last 3 years or 55 race starts) are allowed to race it narrows the field down considerably...

Thank god blokes like Scaffidi aren't driving - we can have a real bet :D

Eagles

Postby SCD » Sun Sep 24, 2006 7:42 pm

Let's not talk about the Eagles, even my tipping was better then they played today.. 9 goals to 1 in the first half, good effort for the $1.45

Loves to over drive them... that's all I'll say.. But both Joe and Brad are great blokes.. just shouldn't be driving horses, just cause a horse has gate speed doesn't mean you have to use it every time....

Thanks for the kind words - will hopefully have some mail in a few weeks when my horse hits the track (she was meant to trial this Sunday and didn't.. don't know why yet!)
Port Power has 16 years history at Football Park...

The Port Magpies have 40 years history and the two shall never be confused or combined
