we are starting to play some pretty good footy. starting to play as a real team. when it comes together we are gonna be a pretty tough team to play.

bad luck bout ur knee too fist. my advice is to not worry bout ur weight for the next 12 months. then when its time to run again just go on the lemon detox diet.

Agree Chram88. Was a good win by the boys, especially with a few key outs and three first gamers. Was interesting to see S.White lining up in the forward pocket. One game out the side and couldnt get his spot back in the backlines. Very good signs for the Lions. Also good spread of goal kickers although the loss of E.Williams will hurt the forward structure but he will be a straight swap with I.Ralston coming back this week. ( handy replacement big sarge )

Interesting...I thought S. White was a good player??? What did he get dropped for in the first place???

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Sorry if this gets you upset in anyway slots. ;)
Marbles you dont upset me, i just scratch my head sometimes with some of the things you say.
I havent seen SMOSH this year so i cant comment, i know when we last played them they were a fair bit infront of us as a side.
The Portland side is alot different now though, would have loved to have Laslett and Wareing in our side back then.

On last weeks performance Portland are a chance this week.
Ahh okay mate I'll try and keep the playschool mindset when i type things for you. So you would keep Greig in the side firom back then. Good choice ;)
was there a greig in that side???
only bloke I wouldnt have in it was smith, he was a greedy hack!!! ;)
That Smith bloke was no good. He wouldnt have played more than 10 A grade games!!!
I'm number 1, so why try harder!!

Yeah i reckon your right Sturtman. Played in the 2's and worked his way up then got injured i reckon. First time out of about 100 times the knee was done. ;) B.Robertson was in the side back then too I reckon. Not much to write about but very good across CHF had a beautiful kick. Best daisy cutter/worm burner i had ever seen. Brought a new meaning to the helicopter/mungrel ;) Great bloke though :)

Iggies v Mitcham (with no confidence)
Woody Sth v Scotch (Ditto)
Walkies v SPOC (Ditto)
Portland v SMOSH (Ditto)
Para Hills v Salisbury (Hopefully the only game that looks a dead cert).

I've heard that whilst heavily intoxiacted on Sat Night he tried to throw one of his mate's dog over the fence and slipped, threw the dog into the fence, smashed his head and twisted his knee.

Old Iggies v Mitcham - must win.
Woody South v Scotch - with some good players to come in from last weeks line up, good enough to get up.
Walkies v SPOC - Walkies very good when they turn it on, but SPOC will play good footy for 4 quarters.
Portland v SMOSH - should have the tallent...but will be close.
Para Hills v Salisbury - comfortably.

SPOC over Walkerville -6 goals - SPOC the best team we've come up agaisnt this season
SMOSH over Portland - 3 goals -Smosh to make to make it that little bit harder for Portland to escape relegation
