Don't mind it, and it's for a good cause....

Isn't that pretty close to the Claremont strip in the WAFL?

As you know REB, i never said top 4 either, I just don't see how we've improved when, as you've said, we still can't beat teams we couldn't beat last year. Sure, injuries to our backline have hurt but it shouldn't be getting down there as much as it is with the talent we have up the field.

Stevens dropped, WOOOOOO HOOOOOOO! Others are Scotland, Browne, Bannister with Bower missing due to a medial strain.
Not sure about dropping Scotland, can provide some toughness but has been a bit inconsistent this year. Bower has been playing well except for the occasional clanger that costs us goals.
In comes: Anderson, Bentley, Cloke, Garlett, Johnson, Thornton, Russell, Yarran.
Doubt Cloke and Bentley will get a run, would like to see Joey Anderson come in as well as Yarran to play in his home town. Thornton a no brainer to replace Bower and Russell is named on the field. Hopefully JR has improved his disposal, like the way he goes about getting the ball though.
Armfield is named on the bench and I reckon he could do with a spell in the Bullants.
Good to see some wholesale changes have been made after last weeks debarcle.

1 flag in how long? Sturt keep thinking of the 1960's when they were decent.
Don't care about 2008, those teams are big scalps in 2009 and that is all that matters. Far too many paople live in the past. The future will be bright and people need to have some faith.

Don't disagree that the future will be bright, just that this year should be brighter than what it is.
Wasn't born in the 60's so i've got no thoughts on that whatsoever except that yes, Sturt were a succesful club then and we are more than successful now compared to 6 other teams in the SANFL this decade. Seems you were living in the past when you made your original comment. Only the Eagles can boast 1 flag this decade with the Dogs having the rest besides ours in 02.
Quick question for you Turbs, why bother commenting on SANFL if you hardly follow it? Seems pointless
Btw, any comments on our team this week or you got nothing useful to say about that either?

I wasn't born then either but know enough bout the history. Just for the record I do follow the Sanfl but just never identified who i follow.
Interesting comments for this week are that Bannister and Stevens should have been dropped, Cloke better not play, and Carlton will win. Still half a season to go, and anything can happen and usually the extraordinary does

Just giving my opinions mate. Yeah I don't keep up to date with the SANFL cos its been an average comp for quite some time. Fair enough Carlton it is, I gave my thoughts earlier and disagree with your perceptions of where the Blues are at. Yes a very disappointing performance last week. A developing side can be inconsistent and that is what we are witnessing.

Go fishing somewhere else champ.
You didn't contribute anything with the above comment either and surely you can't be happy with the weekends performance.
All it showed is that Judd is a champ, we already all know that.
