I cant see ingle farm in D5 winning a game, and either Glenunga or Central United will go winless this year, unless they have another draw and they both are winless......

Yeah well done to Haven's... Nice to see them have a win. Was talking to a work colleague associated with Lutheran who was suitably devastated at their performance... not to take anything away from North Haven though..

His reaction was - hands on his head shaking it from side to side.... ;) He is the assistant coach there so he has only told me bits and pieces. I guess they want to try minimise the damage or public opinion on the situation by keeping it fairly in house... My thoughts or impressions were that they weren't happy with the image he portrayed (whatever that means...). From what I gather they are a fairly tight knit club who rely on 'mates of mates' to field the teams so I guess when an outsider comes in they feel threatened ??

He is/was the assistant coach to both... has filled in a few times playing in the B's this year... former A grade player there. If anything I think it will close their eyes to other options outside the club in years to come which I cant see being a good thing for any club ??

once bitten twice shy, you maybe right..i think becoming insular is not the right way to go all the time no matter how unique certain clubs can be

Round 12 Tips!

Golden Grove v Greenacres by 1pt always seem to be rip-snorter games & am tipping another close one & the winner to keep their finals hopes alive.
Adelaide Lutheran v PAOC by 60 pts whats happening at the Dogs looks like Div 5 next year? Red's by plenty..
North Haven v Pooraka by 42 pts the improving Magpies wont be able to match it with the rampaging Bulls...
CBCOC v Unley by 48 pts the Jets are competitive but them killer Dolphins will crash that plane....
Sailsbury West v Fitzroy by 12 pts Tigers will be very tough at home & should get the points but the Lions need to get back on the winners list soon after no win for a month & the rain will help the Roys.

Congrats to the North Haven boys on racking up their first win last week.
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

Seeing as other grades are jumping on the TOTY bandwagon, thought I may as well start one here too...

so.... who deserves a guernsey in div 4?

Puccini?
Neate?
Newchurch?
Noonan?
Kuhndt?

I think if everyone names 3 players from their club you could get a fairly accurate Div 4 team of the year.

Pooraka's better performers this year I would have to say would be
Chris Adams (Wing) Super quick, and great skills.
Anthony Paradiso (Midfield/wing) was in last years div 4 team of the year on a wing.
Adam Greaves (Forward) Gives his all at every contest. Is third in goal kicking atm.

Tips

Golden Grove vs Greenacres
Adelaide Lutheran vs PAOC
North Haven vs Pooraka
Salisbury West vs Fitzroy
CBCOC vs Unley

TOTY

Kundht (Midfield) - Would be leading our B'n'F. Alot of pace and great skills, very damaging player.
Peterson (Ruck) - Been a great pick up this year, has rarely been beaten in the ruck, won just about every tap on the weekend.
Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.
