Na its just the clubhouse side wing which the drainage is fecked and some parts of the centre square(most ovals similar) The draininage will be fixed hopefully in cricket season.... the rest of the oval is fine.

thats not too bad. geez remember about 10 yrs ago playing on that oval and the whole oval was like the centre square. good job to keep it in not bad nick with the rain weve had.

Yeah the drainage has been upgraded a few times and last cricket season they did a heap of work to get more grass on the centre square..... atm 19 junior teams and 5 senior teams are training on the outer wing and inside 50's so there isnt much room haha

Not sure how many would remember him but ex Henley Shark and Salisbury North Hawk David Johns is playing in the E J Whitten legends match tonight. He's been back in his home town of Horsham for a while now but a few will probably remember his time in the SAAFL.

Champion bloke and B&F winner at SNFC - been grazing in a good paddock and didnt look out of place amonst other retired and less fit legends.. was pretty nervous just quietly. would have been a great thrill. kickin a couple too would have been an awesome feeling. would have come into his own when the drinking started too. Great Work!
Ace - i thought Johnsy had Hueys measure early but you cant keep a great player down. a fairly even contest that day i thought. Booze, thought the highlight of that all in even though one of my teammates was a recipient was the king hit on Shane Gepp.. your ruckman i reckon.. belter!

Mate, Crusty came off the bench like a bolt of lightning and dropped Gepp as if he'd been shot!

That is some of your best work jimmy well done..... should be a good close game and the conditions will suit Modbury and they had a good comepative training last night and are ready to go.... The C grades are playing at Modbury Oval tonight so anyone around the area should get up and watch the preview for tomorrow!
