Hopefully permanent...has moved from working in Geelong to Midura now so will hopefully be coming back each weekend for games.

hahaha. Well it's lucky for you guys that I'm around then. You all obviously need plenty of tackling practice since you all seem happy to be second to the ball these days.

....IF the Raiders decide they want to play footy on the day. Seems to be the biggest hurdle this year.

Just a quick message to all that have supported my short stint as caretaker coach of Ovingham.
I have decided to walk away as of this morning, I do not know what is in store for the Cats future, just that the problems there are far more widespread than I can fix and with no guarantees that I'd hold the coaching position should they survive.

I will continue to read the forums etc here, wish you all the success for the remainder of the season and hope to pop up coaching against or with you guys next season.
Good Luck Ovies!

I went and watch flinders uni play yesterday and was discussed with the umpiring i saw in the a's 7 yellow cards 5 to the crabs 3 of them in the first 10 minutes of the game, shoc 2 was in the last 10 minutes of the game. I hate to say this but shoc umpire was a cheat and a disgrace.I think the result would still be the same due to uni first half was pretty poor but there second half was excellent with having no bench for the second half and then having to play with 16 players for the last 10 mins. i will say this the crabs look dangerous in the second half and if they get their shit together you never no.To Ambo spoke to Ross yesterday and he told me to say hi and there a job at the crabs if your interested and he would love to catch up and have a drink and a chat.
Nothing is easier.

That's what I've been trying to tell you punks all year!
Now you know you can do it, get your shit together and win the bloody flag!!

Great effort by both sides yesterday. Henley had the guts to come back from a 4 goal deficit and take the lead in the 3rd. I was worried with the swing in momentum that the Raiders were going to let yet another winnable game slip away, but to their credit the Raiders responded well and brought it home in the 4th to secure a good win. Well done lads. Go you Raiders!!

Costly win though, Fossil Taylor will surely be out for a few weeks after badly dislocating his elbow. Ouch!

We had the ump a 2 weeks back and thought he was very average sticks!
Gave a trip as holding the ball and yellow carded a guy for pointing (apparently he gave the finger?).. the bloke is a shocker.
But I should be keeping my mouth closed after my reprimand the other week
