3 teams left

Postby Wedgie » Mon Sep 25, 2006 12:27 am

While its pretty much the same as usual with the Eagles and Dogs being in the last 3 teams Im proud to say that North has made its first prelim since 1990 and have finally broken their losing streak in 1st semi finals.

Hooray! :D

do us a favour & beat the eagles, so that we have a decent crowd at the GF this year! Notice the crowd yesterday was heaps lower than last weekend. Why? Port were in last week & the Eagles this week.

We will try Centurion. The SANFL needs North to win next week so theres a big crowd at the grandy, come down and support the Cocks!

3 teams in numbers but only 1 real chance for the flag and they will be sitting back comfortably on sunday arvo.

the crowd looked less then what it was and it probably wasnt a bad result given the weather.

Thought the crowd was more or less a Centrals and North crowd. Didn't see too many South supporters, (to be expected), and Eagles fans were few and far between. Also didn't seem to be as many Centrals End to Enders. What's up lads?

I can't agree with South that had a huge following in the first game, I suspect that was from nuetral supporters there for the late game more than anything but hard to tell.

Someone on the Roost had a good idea, he reckon's the Grogs should chant "CEENTRALS" this Sunday and it'll make the Eagles turn into jelly.

You need to grab your cockadoodledoo a little harder and give it a good spanking sunshine. The Eagles have proved year in and year out that they are a step above the majority of the comp and they deserve to be in the GF even more than your mob. Don't worry about the crowd. We'll get our share there. We have been the inform side of the comp for most of the season and will bounce back this week. We very rarely lose two in a row and I don't think this time will be any different.

That's right "wedgie" you know why that is: Because the Roosters don't scare us. You may have made your way into a PF for the first time since 1990 but just making it ain't good enough. Sorry to say after this week you too will be watching th GF as a neutral observer.

Seriously, what do people expect us to do with the crowd?

Want us to rent some?
Fact of the matter is, we don't have as many supporters at the games as other clubs.

I go out there. Others on here go out there. At least WE are doing our thing.

The following just is not there.

I'm sick of the bullshit every time - not wanting the Eagles in a final (or wherever) because of numbers.

they have been an inform team in the last few years as well, but that all falls to pieces in second semi and grand finals.
