Fitzroy v Adelaide Lutheran - Roys to get back but Lutheran will fight under the fill-in coach this week ;)
Pooraka v Golden Grove - Burras to win away for the first time this year
Unley v Salisbury West - Westies too good
Greenacres v CBCOC - CBCOC way too good. No way Greenies will take the points this time
PAOC v North Haven - PAOC will be too strong but Havens will get close

Impressed with Matthew Eagels today.

Looks like Havens will rekindle the rivalry with the old foe Rosies next year, couldn't see them coming up

PAOC put on a good show on saturday-both on and off the field.
Way too good for Haven's on the field.............it was like Men against boys at some stages of the game.........especially with Modra and Roo up forward.
Off the field there were plenty of people there and plenty of food and alcohol as well.
What was your impression of the day Jimmy?

Its always good to play on the front oval

Plenty of people there - some that I never seen before and they weren't NH people

10 goals to 1 in the first quarter and PAC ran all day

They played the Marshy's paddock but JR jumped in with 6 goals - couldn't help himself... For a bloke who's just 6 foot, playing CHF, he is quality

For NH, I only really noticed Eagels (Sideshow Bob as he is now known) and, as I've said before, very good player. I reckon he played in the ruck, CHF and in the backlines in the last quarter. He earnt a beer on Saturday night. After Haven's last coupla games, they would have been disappointed with Saturday but I think they just got blown away

PS - I heard about the comments in the Sunday Mail this morning from a couple of people at work. Did Craig Todd really make those comments?

I haven't read the article yet - something about Modra was strong but needs to get fit

I seem to recall the full back being metres behind Modra every time he led but that may not have been Todd.

And........it could have been the reporter trying to make a story

It was reported that Todd said 'that Modra was still very strong but needed to get fitter'........whether he actually said it is another thing.
Todd stood Modra all day.
