Nuri dropped the ball last week. I think they need to rebound this week. Tigers by a couple of goals.

Freo v BD is a must win for both teams. I think Freeling will have enough though.

After studying it a bit, I'm inclined to agree with you there Pinchy. I'm starting to like the Donnys' chances of sneaking 4th.

the next 2 weeks will decide their fate, but it would be a just reward for the coaching staff who've turned these boys around from the mess they were in at the end of last year.

This weeks picks

Willaston vs Nuriootpa :Nuri will kick back after last weeks game. They are a very good team.
Barossa District vs Freeling: Freeling are playing OK footy. But I think the Bulldogs will just get over the line.
Angaston vs South Gawler : Training run.
Kapunda vs Tanunda : home ground & Tanunda are lost this year. Why?? Can someone tell me what is going on down there.
If I see it I say it.

The top tier is very good. Neinhaus, Agars, Ferrett, Zimmermann. Drops pretty badly from there though. Losing Schiller all year hurt them big time too.

freeling and barossa will be a battle to the end. freeling havnt been in the best form but they have played the top 3 teams with a team still lacking a player as tall as ninehuse richard heymonthe assoc ruckman, aaron cocks playing in the As and playin well and josh robinson opting for seniors atm, when they get these players back should be a finals line up. not sure on who barossa have out but im sure they have a few to come back to. freeling did win this game last time by a comftable margin so will have to pick them 3 goal

willastons small forwards will need to fire for them if there any chance to beat nuri. nuri have great key players all over the field e.g dimples down back. lincoln smith and housler on ball, thomas in the ruck and robbie modistach who is still yet to really fire like he has in the past. nuri will take it. 4 goal.

Tanunda U/17s broke through for their first win of the season EASILY defeating Kapunda.

TANUNDA 9.6 60
KAPUNDA 0.6 6

Yes that's correct they kept Kapunda goalless.

I was down at the Freeling V Barossa game. This was a good game but what the hell is going on at Freeling? I have been told that the Freeling coach tells his players to hit other players and if it is true then he told the whole Freeling team. I have never seen a team play such a dirty game. Let’s start with (I am only going on the names in the Barracker) No7 Kirk Kirvan, This player was a very dirty, behind the play player that would only hit as he ran pass a Barossa player. If you are going to hit someone get some balls and stand up to them. I move on the player that I can see that someone is going to king hit this kid and he will not get up, No14 Max Doherty. He is one of the dirtiest players in the BL&G 17's. It is only a matter of time when Max gets hit on or off the ground. Well max if it happens don't go crying to daddy. Remember Max there are bigger people out there and with your height that means 95% of the population.

Excuse me, do you really think a respectable coach such as Corrie Eichner or any coach for that matter would tell their players to hit the opposition?

And by the way the Barossa players were just as dirty, so don't come on here and falsely accuse Freeling for their misdeeds.

Umm excuse me handoncock, Corrie Eichner is no respectable coach, he is as dirty as they come, continually sniping when he played and i should know i saw it 1st hand when he was at the tigers, he was an embarrassment at centrals and the reason why we had no problems clearing him to you scrubbers. I have no doubt that he would instruct his players to belt the opposition.

Is it not a responsibility of umpires to protect ball players from such ugly and illegal tactics?
The two players mentioned appear to be untouchable and will no doubt continue to get away with it all year.

corrie has never told his players to be dirty or to snip players. and you are a fool for even thinking that. he was a great player and im sure you cleared him because he wanted to join a better club and get away from a tool like you that is obviously a fair way up your own ass. you are a joke for abusing a great man on the web for somthing he has never done and never will do.
