Thanks Hilly and the gang at Salisbury West for your generosity, it is really appreciated. Hopefully the hat is about the same size as Hoss Cartwright used to wear in Bonanza and you get it filled to the brim on Saturday. No seriously, it is terrific how you and your club along with many others have taken up this opportunity to help another club, it certainly hilights how the football community can pull together for a common cause when it's needed.
Everyone is to be commended to the max, it is fantastic to be a small part of it.

Starting to feel like a feel good Hollywood movie in the making lol ;)

PG, you can play the slightly overweight kid who doesn't quite get picked each week but he loves the boys (literally) and then he gets picked in the grand final cos 13 blokes go down with the swine flu and wins the game with by staying on the bench the whole time...

that got a bit out of hand in the end...

holy shit!!! That is farQin hilarious

A terrific coverage of this situation in this weeks budget, thanks to Luke and the team involved for their help and at NO COST.
An ideal opportunity presents itself for some cheap advertising with 4 spots available for a company to get some good mileage for 9 weeks at just $440.00. If anyone is interested, pm either myself or Nuggetty Goodness and we'll steer you in the right direction.

Great to see plenty of people at Ovies game today and also supporting the club through the canteen, barbq and bar.
I reckon if that type of support is maintained for the rest of the season, all should be okay then we worry about next season.

he walked unfortunately, he won't be back this year but may put his hand up next year, there was more to it than just the footy side of things, which is always the case so we'll see how we go...

on a different note the local messenger has a very flattering photo of yours truly on the cover with a bit of a write up looking for some support from the local community, i'm gonna cop it for that one!!! probably a couple of bucks worth of fines in that hey...

Ovingham are holding a Special General meeting on Thursday night to elect a committee to take the club forward into next year and beyond.
This will be the ideal opportunity for those who wish to help make the place run efficiently again, to put their hand up to give some help. It's not just a matter of saying on the night you will help, it's more about what you actually do that counts, so let's see who is serious about the club and how many are there on Thursday.

Here's your chance, don't waste it!
