Meaning ??? Who are they playing this week ??

After reading this thread, the pages after Saturdays games evry week are generally full of people saying how the team they played on the weekend are thugs, snipers and how they had yay number of players kind hit.

At some stage this season i think every team in Div6 has been claimed to be dirty, cheating cowards.

i wouldnt say that at all weve had 2 actions against us this season and 1 didnt get on this forum and the other was the kick in the head from mitchell park so i think thats abit far fetched mate.

should'nt you be preseason cricket training anyway?

Yeah im sitting at Yalumba drive now waiting for everyone to show up.

in my time at the club i have nothing but resect and admiration for our club.the club and esp the brothers that everyone likes to slag, people like rogers, hay and esp bates have helped me recover thru cancer and a marriage breakup that i will never forget them for or be able to fully thank.the coach was ashamed, disappointed and disgusted by some actions on the weekend and went against everything he has been trying to teach us,strenght, honour, respect, humility both on the field and in life.he will not tolerate that kind of behaviour.we are slagged often and at times it is warranted but alot that is said is by hipocrates who should look at their own house first before worrying about us.we will be soughted out but the players know they only have a few weeks to show this or they will lose their coach and players.i will defend our club with every breath i haveand by any means that i have to.the one thing we can never be accused of is showing the same disrespct and lack of deciency like our coach was when he ventured into their rooms after thegame,as he always does,to thank the oppositon, congratulate them and wish them the best.to him that was the lowest point of his coaching career.we play hard,we play strong but we will not be intimadated or disrespected by anyone.you have to earn respect and we have to start again and do what we have to ,to regain this.

CU are playing Lockleys this week at home......I played against Lockleys B grade on Saturday and had no trouble with sniping from them. Physical - Yes but nothing you wouldnt expect on a football field. Go and give it a crack

Dee Man, if you are the A grade coach, i know we at Paralowie have nothing but respect for you. They way you have spoke to us after both games is a credit to yourself. I hope you can weed out the thugs that are bringing you blokes the bad name and move forward. Only sticking point i can see, is that it is a couple of players who are regarding as very good players, but let themselves down by thug acts. I cant see the club asking these blokes to move on. Good luck but as you seem like a very good coach.

Brahma Lodge v CLG - if Brahma Logde intimidates CLG like they did last time then they should win easy.
Glenunga v Mitchell Park - don't think I need to say anything else.
Central United v Lockleys - Lockleys haven't been travelling too well at the moment, CU should give then a good shake up.
Hectorville v West Croydon - Only because it is Hectorville's home game
Paralowie v Trinity OS - Paralowie coming into some good form at the right time of the season.

Haha, Central United will lose by about 15-20 goals. Lockleys pushed the Lodge last week, and should prove too strong here.

it has been one of the hardest years in footy for me but i would not trade it for anything.as itry to teach these young men about footy and life, they are helping me grow as a person as well.i know i am not a traditional coach who is only worried about results on the field and where they stand in the lines for bigger club jobs.i am more concerned about the players as young men, husbands ,sons, brothers and friends.if i can help just 1 player become a better person and their for a better player i have achieved my job.as you can see i have plenty of work to do but until the club says otherwise i will keep working at it.

interesting to note the mitchell park A and B grade coaching positions for 2010 advertised in the paper this morning, strange time to do it, unless both have said they are finishing up at seasons end.
