The Channel 9 Chopper (not to be confused with the Thunder's Chopper) may be overhead but unable to find space to land with the big fella back on the park.
Go you good thing. :

Yeah, SMOSH have been real 'lucky' all year...

They 'fluked' a win against us - kept us almost goal-less after halftime !!! Talk about lucky... ;)

woody south were lucky to be in it until the last ten minutes. we played some very very average footy for the first three quarters and half the last quarter. got a spray at half time which obviously didnt work. woody south hit the front halfway through the last quarter and then the boys started to pick it up. tomeo kicked 2 pretty crucial goals in that 10 minute spurt. was very quiet until then. wasnt tagged i dont think.

sitting equal first, second on percentage. beaten by st peters away! very good side, who played good footy that day. will beat anyone if they play that good.
also got knocked off by para hills away, only ended up losing by about 2 goals after playing 1 good quarter of footy. then beat them by 5 goals at home in round 11.

we arent beating the bottom teams by 20 goals like we should be,and our percentage reflects that, but we are beating them! this w/e against walkerville will be the true indicator of where we deserve to be! i wouldn't read to much into results like the weekends.

From the point of view i have come across this year, SPOC and Walkerville are the likely grand finalists. Para Hills and SMOSH are contenders, but when finals come, i think PH and SMOSH wont be able knock em off. As for 5th spot, Scotch, Mitcham, maybe Iggies. As the top four are now confirmed finalists, who would u lads prefer to be the fifth finalist? and who would you lease prefer? From what i have heard: Scotch are hit up hard with injuries, Woody Sth are playing trash; Iggies... 4th spot would love that!!!!...

I reckon you are way off with Walkies mate. SPOC are the standout i think, SMOSH are next. Good, tough midfields win finals games, and they have that. Walkies are suspect to physical pressure, and i think SPOC and SMOSH are both very good at applying this. Para Hills have the best forwards in D3, but i think they have a weakness in ruck. Also, i think their midfield can be exposed if they dont win the footy. They dont have a strong defensive action. SPOC are very, very strong. They have a very good mix all over the ground, and are a good, no-nonsense footy side.

Scotch are my pick for 5th spot. They could worry a Walkies or PH in an elimination final too.

Obviously, all just my opinion from what i have seen.

Gein vs McEvoy matchup will be interesting. Time for Dennis to stand up, and stop being Geiny's bitch maybe... ;)

Also, could be a big inclusion this week to partner Lipson in the forward line. If this bloke gets through the 2 training sessions, then he will dust off the boots this Saturday. Will the Hawks drop 15 blokes back on him like they did in last years GF ???

Cant beleieve that big Tom misses 6 games and then kicks 8 in his first game back.

And to make it more unbelievable, allegedly was spotted at the Palais late Friday night

Not sure how many blokes out there could miss 6 games through injury, stay out to 4am on the Friday night, then front up on Saturday and kick 8.1 in 3 quarters of footy.

To top this off, he bet one of his team mates $50 during the week that he would kick 8 on the weekend !!!

Lippo, you are a freak...and a d!ckhead !!!
Also turned into a security guard during the game, restraining that pissed bloke from jumping the fence. Very good effort.

So I assume that big Andy got through training ok???

What's his go with Mitcham, does not seem to be a big fan of them??? Recall him saying after last year's GF that he could not understand why Mitcham played a loose man in defence in the last quarter when they were 5 goals behind! I would have thought in a GF you would go all out to win the thing rather than have an "honourable Loss". Or if playing a loose man have someone that can play a bit, not that tall skinny Fleming who had no idea!!

Looking forward to the clash of the Thunder vs Hawks. Any news on the trickster, McEvoy?? Probably not even injured but saying that he is so he avoids being stitched by Gein again..

How many games has Thornton played this year? You would think a man of his size and fitness would struggle to run out a game in div 3. Will just have to wait and see how McEvoy pulls up.

He hasn't played any. But he has been training pretty hard away from the track. He doesnt need to 'run out a game' - only bob up and kick a couple of goals.

Oh, and maybe help Ben Shaw wear his kidneys as earrings again... ;)

Westies have the bye, so Flanigan likely to play im guessing.

i think everyone is getting a little to excited about mcevoy or how ever you spell it, geiny is one of about 4 blokes in our back line that would stitch him up, when we played them earlier in the year with gein out joshy frank gave him a fair touch up.
which defender will get lipson, hes coming 7th in the league goal kicking after missing 7 games with an average of 4.4 best in div 3, with thornton, lipson, coppins and mccadam up there im sure it should cause a few headaches for the mitcham defence, i think most of the headaches will be coming from thornton though ;)
