Your complaints about the first game between us this year were a perfectly valid criticism and I would not want that to stop, they were about a particular incident, with particular pieces of evidence, however;

The over general, exaggeration and character assassinations that have been prevalent over the past week really aren't necessary and are hurting a great many (innocent) people involved with the club. GEESKIP's post as an example.

i tend to agree with carey..ive seen farmers, ovies, kilburn,units and even my own club subjected to heaps..it is the internet..and they are opinions..censorship doesnt really work..and neither do threats to the sites owners..(although it seems to have done something)..a pack mentality can exist at times..you get that anywhere in a public forum on the net..you cant make people say what they dont think ..however unfair it may look it is the impression some get when they play mpfc..its hard to change and it only takes one stupid act to waste all the good ones..thats fact..thats what has to be drummed into any offenders head..your act just cost us a whole years worth of built up good work

we played mpfc in a trial this year and there was nothing all day..our impression is of a changed club, but..see how easily that can change with just one bad act..its not fair for you guys but its the way it is when you have a reputation..just ask LM and smithfield..they had done plenty to change their image and then some idiot goes and nearly puts it all back 3 years with one stupid act

peace :D

Slander (or libel in this case) is still illegal. Regardless of any supposed freedom of expression an internet forum provides.

I post on BigFooty quite regularly, try and mention certain incidents or alleged incidents on there and you will be quickly banned. Forum hosts understand this risk which is why I think the owners of this site are rightfully treading very carefully.

OK Boys and Girls, some good points here and some worthwhile discussion, the one Ammo game I saw this year was MP v Lockleys and saw nothing untoward apart from a MP player giving it to some Lockleys fans after the win, personally Id be celebrating with my team mates but each to their own.

Just remember if there is a post on here that you have concerns over and/or have broken the site rules hit the Report Post button on the bottom right of each post and/or PM a Moderator. Every poster has a responsibility, Mods arent robots and dont read every single post suprisingly.

Absolutely agree. It would help if you blokes stopped nicking them all!

yeah we are close geographically but any junior players we got this year from mpfc were because no teams were available on your end..now as for goodwood and edwardstown and mitcham..thats another story..they pillage and plunder like nobodys business :)

This is a statement that has greatly angered many people at the club. The split jaw was a result from a head clash. Nothing but a football incident. The Mitchell Park player involved was also slightly injured, he is a life member of the club and has never once been reported, a fairer player you could not find.[quote]

this is wrong there was a head clash but that wasnt the incident that resulted in a split jaw...the one that did was when one of our players went to lay a tackle and your player raised his elbow was prob the most obvious of all that incidents that day and what gets me is he had the ball and prob also the opportunity to clear it from the defence but chose to do that instead and it resulted in a goal

Who gives a f*&k honestly.
Toughen up people or go play another sport.
Every side has a combination of good fair players and ordinary thugs. Deal with it and move on. :roll:

it is interesting to find people finding it strange that i take the time to talk to other teams after a game.their are a number reasons why i do this.i like to show my respect to players and coaches,whether we win,lose or draw.after spending two hours plotting a way to win ,i still have enough character to appreciate young men going to battle showing off the best game in the world.also if i can in any small way by my observations,help a player or even a coach improve or see something from a different point,i see that as my duty as a coach of football,if this against the grain of what is acceptable,then i have been waisting my time in this great game for over 30 years.hope this answers your question

The coach at the end of the game was to be respected for coming over and giving us a talk about a similar situation their club went through.. Im not sure whether it was a clean contest because a few guys were out, but You guys were nothing but fair and the game was played in good spirit!!!

Does Mitchell Pks coach go over and talk to every club? Im sure i read he did to Paralowie and i know in the past he has done it to West Croydon. Does this come across as unusual to anyone? I know its the done thing after a GF.
