CBCOC v Hope Valley
Adelaide Lutheran v Plympton
PAC v Pooraka
Fitzroy v Adelaide University
Golden Grove v Unley (this one could get very ugly......)

GO YOU MIGHTY VALLEYS!!!!!

Nope magic wont be too bad, we have been given a 10 goal win! Unley could not be bothered driving down to Harpers for this one! Not that i blame them really. Pretty happy with a rest three weeks out from the finals, percentage really doesnt matter now. Agree with your tips magic except maybe you guys over CBCOC, sorry!

We were talking about this at selection last night actually! We were thinking Unley might do that next week too, instead of making the trek out to Hope Valley - maybe they chose this week, given GG is further!

They have already forfeited at least once this year....is it 3 times and its fold? Can't remember!

I think it will be a bit of fun for us Tex come round 18 mate...no chance of making finals to will be good to finish of the season with a bit of fun :D ...plus we will lose a few of our juniors that we have helping out for numbers, so might have to get a few old timers back to dust off the boots to give you guys a game!
I'm proud of you fellas. You all kept your head on a swivel, and that's what you gotta do when you find yourself in a vicious cock fight!

Thanks Tex. We have been competitive for most of the year and had a lot of 'brave losses'. Was nice to finally get a win - albeit a bit late in the season! We have finally got some numbers back and have the luxury of fielding a full side with numbers on the bench!! It is amazing the difference that can make! Anyway we have nothing to lose and are starting to enjoy our footy a bit more - so we'll just see how much damage we can do over the next few weeks!

no, just playing now- handed over the reins to an injured player who was keen on coaching "full time"

Last week Unley got only 17 players for their C grade. I know that a few were out this week and some would have thought what is the point of driving all the way to the other side of town. I know that there is a player playing his 300th game in the B grade that some of them might want to support.

I can understand its tough with so few players and it can't be nice getting thumped every week..... But surely no one likes to forfeit! My team had to do it once in the Under 17's when I was playing for Henley and that was the worst feeling ever.... Hopefully they are right for a game next week!!

I know what it is like Magic, i am playing some games at Unley this year. We had to forfeit the game against Plympton which annoyed me as I had to give up some work in the morning to be there in time for a early game. the only problem with that was the game was orginally programmed as a 2.15 game but we didnt know until the friday that it was a 12.15 game. also the first i knew about us forfeiting is on this website, i havent hear anything from the club as yet.

I don't like to boast - but I'm pretty sure I got all the games right this week......

Good game by the Valley boys! If only we had a few extra games to go we could have really given the finals series a shake....

Gday mate - Unley forfeited on us too, so few of the boys are disappointed not to have a run.
Yeah we will definitely scrape together some sort of side mate - don't want our season to end on a forfeit, so you'll get some practice in before your finals. Looking forward to coming up there for the game!

Pitty the season wasnt a few games longer you guys may have been up there on current form!

Sucks the big one when a team forfeits on you! we are blessed with big numbers and a young area which really helps us each week i guess! I was going to rest my ageing body this week anyway but there was planty of dissapointed guys! especially those who were dropped from the B grade this week!

Yeah we're in the same boat...some boys pressing their claim for the b grade, but some don't the chance to impress this week because of the forfeit. Ah well, not to worry - lets us go out and support our A's and B's, and get on it!!

And with the newly developed "balcony bar" at ingle farm farbs, id imagine their would be no complaints ;)

No need to apologise, we are lucky enough to be in a young area with bucket loads of players to choose from for all 4 grades. Im pretty sure you guys would have a handfull of players that wanted to play also.

Looking forward to taking on you guys this weekend Tex! Hopefully we have a similar side to what we've had over the past few weeks - that way it shouldn't be a total blow out! I'm sure you guys are keen as to get out there after a couple weeks off... We only had the one week off and I am already looking forward to it!!

Well we had a bit of a session on Saturday ourselves.... Not sure it was quite as productive as yours by the sounds of it... Plenty of 'team bonding' involved though! Haha.
