Felch - you sent me a text today saying you were a shoe in for the Finals and that you
were looking to be the Coach next year
. Think you are just holding back a little mate.

Dont want to give the opposition too much ammunition do you. Tell everyone what you
really think and that you WILL make the finals easily.

They'd be looking for a successful coach, wouldn't they?

We have one.

Salisbury officially relegated today, sorry to see you boys go. But in all honesty you have a lot of work to do for next year, dont know your D grade score but as a club you only kicked 7 goals for the day in your A B C grade. Worrying times at Cappegreco park?
Was a disappointing day, although if you saw the state of Mitcham's oval, you'd understand why there was only 15 goals kicked in the main game, and only 12 in the magoos. Half the oval was mud (I thought Hardy Hit said it was in good nick?), although to their credit, they probably adapted to the conditions a bit better than we did.

Is not much fun to go down, disappointing we won't get to go around against you Para Hills boys next year, but that's life. We'll go back down and work to get back to see yas in 2010.

Mitchams oval was in good nick..... ;) after thursday it pouring down all training it just ruined the oval leaving boggy patches all around, mind u the Salisbury center wasnt any better. The R race has become very interseting in the next few weeks which will have many make or break games for the division.
Edit: 2011?
Thanks for the edit, 2011 was what I was looking for.

Hey Pag,
When will the club be advertising for a new coach? I hear Eddie is going to Gawler South next season.

Eddie has decided he isn't going to go on next year, but will still be around the club. His sons play in the juniors, and he still wants to be involved with the senior side of the club in some form. Not sure where you got the South Gawler thing from?

although portland had a comfortable win they didnt get through unscaved, wonder kid lipson will be out for the rest of the year due to re injuring his kneee which will be a huge loss for the thunder, i think there is a few others that have some problems but most should be able to go next week. very nervous times for alot of teams at both ends of the ladder at the moment

Piccachu had reason to celebrate he was very good on the weekend, showed he was a class above the rest on quite a few occassions.
Big loss for Portland to lose Lipson, but they played some really good footy after he went off. Young Seagull at the goal front looked ok, should have had 7 in the end.

haha celebrate on a sunday night aswell??
lipson is a huge loss, showed he can play kicking the first 2 of the game before goign down
I think lipson calculated if he had of played like that for the whole game he would have ended up with about 24 goals
seagull is a good player for someone so young!
lets hope we have him for the rest of the season!

Just had a phone call from the great man himself and has asked me to retract this rumour as he vows there is no truth to it at all. So on that basis I would like to retract my previous statement.
