Greatest Horse of All Time!

Postby Wedgie » Tue Nov 01, 2005 3:37 pm

It was argued before this race that Makybe was on a par with some of the greats including Phar Lap, I think after today it can be safely said she's the greatest horse of all time, I certainly won't witness anything close to it again in my lifetime.
3 X Melbourne Cups
Sydney Cup
Australia Cup
BMW
Cox Plate

Lee Freedman even said today he'd deliberately underdone her for the Cox Plate so she'd have something in reserve for the Melbouren Cup, to think she won the greatest race in Australia underdone and easily!!

Unbelievable.

What about the run of On A Jeune?? I wonder what GENIUS BACKED THAT AT THE TAB AT THE LAST MINUTE!!!!!!!!!!       If only he'd been able to get out earlier, one of us could've had the winner up at $60's the win..... Forum rules prevent me from saying who this person is....
