Fantastic effort by Modbury on Saturday. Smashed Gaza after qtr time and should have won by 10 goals if we kicked straight haha We hit in hard at the contest and the Gaza blokes were terribly undisciplined and yes "sooked" ;) and resorted to cheap shots.

I must say it was good that about 10 Gaza officials/players came in for a beer after the game.

Good to play on Downie in the B’s on the weekend…. He did another heart muscle and walked off in the 3rd qtr, obviously could handle playing in such an average team or his delicate little eye socket and nose must have been aching from getting cold in their forward line.

NM
The big fella does not want to play a-grade.
He is happy playing b's and is a great leader for the younger lads coming through.
Has been a massive asset to the club.
a young family and work commitment means he can't train both nights every week so b-grade is the best option.
Also has not played for 8 weeks because of a knee injury.

The comp is incredibly even, everything was looking doom and gloom for Modbury a few weeks ago and now they are a possibility of scraping into the finals. . A win vs SHOCS this week followed by another against a Salisbury North outfit that are obviously having some problems and traditionally dont travel well could really make things interesting!

Also was great to see Gaza go down, all those man hours spent investigating could of been better spent on strategy and skills work. . All i did was fire Modbury up. . :D Just want to thank you Gaza boys again for the extra ammo. .

  oh i knew there would be an excuse, there always is!

Bottom line is he's not good enough & he knows it deep down.
I must say he got a ride at Seaton.

probably left seaton because they're a club going backwards. if he's happy to be playing b grade, then let the fellow go. he doesn't seem to be complaining, he knows his ability, and what his other priorities are, so shouldn't need to comment one wouldn't think. maybe you're just a bit upset that he's left you boys :(

The clubs not having the best of years but that happens, it won't be to far away til their more competitive all clubs go through it, Its called a rebuilding phase.

Seeing the back of him was the best thing that could of happened to Seaton, maybe the blokes had a good look at himself & grown up in that 2 years he's been gone, one would hope so anyway Seaton was very generous to him.

Modbury dodged a bullet yesterday

They've been very evasive. The TTG night game debacle earlier in the year is an excellent example.

NM,
honestly i think the bloke is plenty good enough...first game back he kicks five with about 3 blokes playing on him.
seaton lost a big asset

Do you mavrick understand what an asset is to a club?
Its not an individual that thinks me, myself & i when it comes to TEAM, i'm surprised he hasn't thrown a tantrum yet but then again he probably has as a leopard never loses its spots!
If he can kick 5 in the Bs i'll kick 10 blindfolded with 3 on me! ;)

So WingerFc do you think we will be able to put a div1 side on the park this weekend
because the one from last was not even close to a div1 side

we will get a few back from injury but yes the selection pool is very shallow. i think only 9 players from last yrs Grand Final played last week. Bit like the trouble Hawthorn have experienced this yr with indifferent form and injury except they won the flag!

have not seen this side of the big fella you speak of
enjoying his footy and is becoming a great leading for the younger lads.
maybe a few of your boys at ramblers are like you with the blindfolds on of late...? :D
mind you the sharks were a team of blindfolded men sat also :(
