North may not be such a tip for the flag now.
Gone are McEntee, Roe, Gilham and Hunt.

The losses of Roe and Hunt in particular would leave a hole for sureI would have thought ... That said, they obviously have a good recruiting team down at Prospect and I'm sure they'll come up with adequate replacements for these blokes!

They are BIG outs...a ruckman, key defender, CHB in the State Side AND a key ex-AFL signing.

Though just quietly, I think North fans may have suspected all 4 were a chance to be picked up in the PSD and Rookie Drafts...

No doubt they'd have some extra plans up their sleeve with the fallout now though...Woewoedin and Tom Logan are still looking for clubs and it appears Logan is keen to stay in SA.

Hope he wants to emulate his brother and play for Glenelg...

Tom Logan taken in the Rookie draft round 4 by Port. So he stays in Adelaide.

Logan picked up in 4th Round of Rookie Draft by Port...he's a chance for us to pick up...it's ALL up to West.

I didn't realise Port had a 4th Round pick option...

MacEntee was expected to go and hasn't played a league game in any case so he was not in our plans - Roe and Gillam key position defenders from last year, Hunt a big pick up to really shore up the defence this year and now (as railcar would say) BOOM! all turned to shit - back to the recruiting trail and time to really open up the cheque books.

I now concede that North are temporarily free of salary cap problems :)

I also concede that West desperately need a ruckman.

Bit surprised Alwyn Davey wasn't taken as a rookie, but happy all the same for him to stay with us. Not sure why Richmond would have rookie listed Jeremy Humm, originally drafted in 2000 then to be rookie listed 5 years later, WTF!!!!!!

North Adelaide might just be a LITTLE over the salary cap now that some will be leaving and some not coming at all!!!!!!!!!

If West need a Ruckman why didn't they try harder to keep Dabrawski?

Yeah Gilham and Roe will be big misses for the Roosters. Not ending up with Hunt would be a pain in the butt as well.

Not too many surprises in there. Leanord Clark maybe....didnt think he looked good enough for AFL.
