Can only play 5 games on the SHC Main Oval per year. We try and play the rest at Brighton Oval but that depends on the SFL fixturing. We could just play all our home games at the Middle School, but think its not the best place to play A1 football at. Surface is fine, but open to the elements.

Breaking news for anyone who is interested!!!!

Chris Motley, Daniel Miller, Sonny Gregan, Nick Pape, Eugene Warrior, Scott Behrens, Michael Hood are all leaving sals nth at the end of the year to go to the same un-named club.

Eugene warrior will also be the head coach of this club and he has already starting recruiting some players with rumours graham johncock may retire for the crows and join his best mate.

Can anyone please find out the club in question??

Would have thought Salisbury Nth would be glad to see the back of them if the
rumours of them having their hands in the fridge last week are true. We have all seen what happens
when people like that get into a club together - just ask poor old Ovingham who are doing a great job in getting themselves out of the crapper now

Case of bye, bye - onya bike sunshine

Other clubs beware is what Salisbury Nth would be saying im guessing

Not too sure that Johncock would be in any move if you read this morning's papaer.
A new 2 year deal with Adelaide would squash that idea I reckon.

Regarding the SHOC vs Modbury game being played at Thebby. Great call, Shoc have 2 good grounds and one horrible one with 2 sand filled cricket pitches running through it. Good on SHOC for letting it be played at Thebby. .

As for mass exodus happening at Salisbury North, Not always a bad thing. Modbury had a big exit 2 years ago when we got our new coach in, alot said we would get relegated from Div 2 but went on too win the flag instead. . Sometimes so called Big players can bring a bad culture, even if there exodus causes a loss in talent bigger and better things can come from it!

Lets not get ahead of ourselves, a once off incident does not neccesarily mean the culture is bad and there should be a exodus. The only beat up about this is on this forum and like what normally happens when people with no real idea but have heard from someone who heard from someone... wonder who your referring to as the so called big players and in whos view? . im sure most clubs over the journey have had issues arise with players getting carried away and in trouble. It has been dealt with in house in a professional manner and all focus of the team and club is on the potential to make finals and also avoid relegation..Crime commited, punishment implemented, end of story! There have been a couple of clean outs in the past few yrs at SN and it resulted in a GF appearance so i know what u mean.

Its more a case of big personalities. They effect a team/clubs culture......

Dont get me wrong Whinger, not saying you have a culture problem. Just saying some clubs look at the loss of players as a terrible thing that will cripple a club but in the end every cloud has a silver lining and in some cases it can be a blessing. .

From what i hear about it all blokes are playing on this year atleast and there is nothing more than a few drinking bans, looks as if its a big wind up on the forums (for something different). . Lets be honest we have all got a bit carried away at a club function or just a general saturday night. . I know sure as hell they will never give me tap and fill at Modbury again! haha

Haha wingerFC i know exactly what happened and who was involved.

Just spoke to one of my contacts and apparently Daniel Miller feels he is getting abit to old for div 1 footy and he cnt keep up with the pace so he is looking to go chase money at a lower club. Also Chris motley has decided he is goin to go to country footy to chase big bucks

He would want to hope his reputation as a "fridge breaker" doesn't precede him. They don't take too kindly to that in the country either!
Might finish up with his 'jewels' down his throat if he pulls that one in a couple of country clubs I know!
