I thought BAYMAN was a keen chaser of the shorties but driving home on a few occassions from GAWLER with MAl and TAXI ROBBIE they bet on what the last number of the rego plate will be odds v evens and they even back odds v evens in races that they listen to on the radio driving home......

if there is money to be made...............................

3 games today and all went my way with OAK,STL & NYY all winning, NYM play tomorrow in G1 - great start to this multi

AG - havent been following the run score betting for the last month but the starting pitcher for NYM is a doubtful starter according to ESPN today - still reckon they are waaaaaaaay underrated and over the odds for the World Series. LAD can also light it up on the offensive end so I would be wary about betting under 8.5 with them playing...

doing some research the METS have apparently been failing at bat and in september came 25th of 30 teams in runs scored for the month.

that maybe a concern that they are struggling to get runs.

sorry I should have clarified that the Multi is for those teams to win their best of 5 Divisional Series - All of them are up 1-0 except for NYM which kicks off tomorrow...especially pleasing was OAK and STL who were underdogs in their series however won away from home and are now favs to win. The same Mutli after todays game is $4.34 which shows the turn around in odds. (I did have a seperate Multi on the 3 to win G1 today)

NYM v LAD and DET v NYY G2 are both on the tube tomorrow morning if interested

The good results keep pouring in! OAK win game 2 and NYM win game 1 today

OAK 2-0
NYM 1-0
STL 1-0
NYY 1-0 with Game 2 starting in 1/2 hour

OAK now travel home for a 2 home game stand and only needing to win 1 to progress, NYY should get to 2-0 today (if you like the shorts back this one today at around $1.48) STL are my only worry but they now have the home ground advantage...

Good results again, except for NYY who lost. STL and NYM both win, current status -

NYY/DET 1-1
STL/SD 2-0
OAK/MIN 2-0
NYM/LAD 2-0

Best of 5 series

Oakland sweep the twins 3-0 this morning, 1 down 3 to go, The Big Unit Randy Johnson on the mound for the the yankees as I speak (FOX1) huge game with the series tied 1-1

Hmmm NYY lose and are down 2-1 in their series v DET.

NYM & STL are both $1-10 to win their series being 2-0 up so my only problem is the yankees who have to win 2 in a row, so Im going to lay off on G3 tomorrow and back DET at $2-20 to at least get my investment back to put myself in a no lose position. Hopefully the yankees can still pull through...its frustrating as they were the shortest of all 4 to win their series!

PhilG wrote:The trouble for the Yankees now is that they MUST win at Detroit to take it to the deciding game - which will be back in New York where NYY would be a better chance. Especially off a win on the road.

The win by the Tigers in Game Two didn't exactly help the Yankees though!

I thought the Twins were pathetic this morning.

agree Phil - thats why im laying off tomorrow so I cant lose any $, if NYY win tomorrow they will win back at home to take the series - its tomorrow that worries me

I went to a Yankees game in 1981 when Don Mattingly was starring.
Just thought I would add that in.
