i personally thought TOS werent as good as others thought they were. thought they lacked a bit of height and depth in the team. after last weeks result though, you have to give them a lot of credit for such a big win.
lack height are we talking about the same trinity? they have plenty of height and they can all play to! i believe the fittest side going around and keith hooker is up there with the best coach's going around thats for sure.

from what i seen 2weeks ago and the CLG result they have to be a chance.
Is he in his mid to late 30's, about the same size as you carey.
well i dont like to call people fat but yes he is the same size as me!

use to be a very handy opening bowler
Yep very handy bowler, played a few games against him in cricket, Doesn't surprise me he makes a good football coach, he had all the 'P' elements to coaching

Had a laugh with a few of the brahma boys as we watched a few of his 1/4 1/2 and 3/4 time speeches, recalled counting over 20 "alrights" each break

BL the standouts but it appears the next 4-5 teams can all beat each other on the day

being the new boys into div 6 next year we would love to see the gawler trip go up to div 5 :)

To be honest both times Trinity have played Heccies this year they have not played well at all, 1st game understandable with the whole situation of that day and at your home ground that was a terrible game for TOS boys not even close to their best footy, Trinity's A Grade have been up and Down this season, in the last 2 weeks tho they have played 4 great quarters of football finally instead of 2 maybe 3 quarters, i hope they keep it up coz as a supporter on saturday it was great to see the boys play with so much passion and drive to win, they came out focused and fired up from the very 1st bounce to the final siren.
Im not sure why you thought TOS lack height??? I wouldnt have thought TOS had a heigh problem but im a short arse so to me they all look tall  but 3 Zorich brothers all stand over 6 ft tall, scotty mathews would have to be 6 ft???, just using those 4 as examples, but i would say with the exception of maybe 2 - 4 A Grade players most of them are all of average or above average height.
Its interesting tho what others see in a team.
I think Heccies will do well come finals.

I too hope they can keep it up  but Heccies and CLG both 2 very good sides. I think come finals if BL, CLG, TOS and Heccies are all switched on and at full strength the GF could be anyones i still dont think anyone will walk into the GF easily.

How much is Keith paying you or whufc r u the mr hooker himself

I wouldnt say Trinity is the fittest side going around, CLG r a very fit team and would equal Trinity on many levels. BL beat Trinity with experience and skill on the field, and Heccies had no probs keeping up. Even Lockleys r quite a fit side or atleast they were from what i saw last year didnt see them play this year.

All the beer on offer for the 1st win against you guys im sure helped them stay focused on making sure they won  The TOS boys did play fantastic footy on saturday maybe their best game ive seen them play this season.

Full credit to CLG coach and boys who didnt give up till the final score, and even tho they were down all day the players played good clean footy, i was very impressed. CLG boys were very gracious in defeat.

It took a long time for Trinity to get the win and im glad it was a good one coz im sure come finals your boys will come back hard fired up ready to take the win back ;) :D
i can understand where you are coming from morgs.to say two weeks to go is to long is an understatement.to be honest i am at the stage where i am questioning my love of the game but more important,i am questioning the role of young men in society.because of actions recently this great club will lose some great people.i am so disappointed that i was unable to teach some of these young men anything that could help them not only in life but also in footy.to be honest i think footy might have passed me by.

Dee man, from an outsider reading the forums and the SAAFL news letter the other week, you are doing a great job not only teaching the lads about footy but also trying to teach them respect for others and each other etc.
I dont know the position of the club on numbers but just dont pick them if they are a problem.
seems just a few bad eggs are giving MP a rep.
if you keep picking them your not teaching them anything.
like i said only giving an opinion from what i have read from other postsers.

keep plugging away Dee Man

this weeks tips

glenunga vs hectorville- heccies by 30 goals...
blodge vs west croydon-with lodge players coming back in the side after some injuries lodge in a good game of footy...
mitchell park vs trinity- trinity really hitting there straps at the right time of year and the fact mitchell parks best player should get games as a result of his actoins last week i can see trinity winning by 15 goals...
paralowie vs c united- roos by 20 goals with bryant to bag another big hall... and boothey to get another 3 votes from the umpires..
clg vs lockley- lockleys must be some sort of chance against a very good footy side that have had a couple of big road trips in the last couple of weeks which have resulted in loses. but i think the clg boys will be happy to be back at home with there crowd behind them and should win by 5 to 6 goals..

good luck all teams..

A grade: glenunga v hectorville - Heccies by 20 goals
brahma lodge v west croydon - Brahma by a kick, Big Brown bear to kick 6 with the sealer in the last minute then he'll slap his opponent, Payney to do his block 5 times, RV to take mark of the year, Ace to be BOG.
mitchell park v trinity- Trinity by 5 goals
paralowie v united -Paralowie in percentage booster to help with securing that 5th spot.
clg v lockleys -CLG by 5 goals on their home deck. Would want to get back in the winners circle, looking for big games from Dalby and Harvey. Lockleys need to win considering Paralowie have CU. Lose and they have to rely on Paralowie losing in the last round.

B Grade: glenunga v hectorville - Heccies by 25 goals
brahma lodge v west croydon - Brahma to keep finals hopes alive in close one. Last game vs WC was a draw, so expecting another tight game. Suprise move will be Masha to FF (please please please), and kick 0.5 (with the winning point after the siren Jimmy Bartel style)
mitchell park v trinity- Trinity by 10 goals
paralowie v united - Paralowie by 20 goals
clg v lockleys - CLG by 10 goals, class outfit and we also need Lockleys to lose so Brahma have a chance at finals.

Once again a disgraceful display of thuggery at Mitchell Park. B Grade game finishes and Trinity B Grade coach is given an apology by a Mitchell Park official saying the club doesnt condone the actions of one of their B Graders Punching a Trinity player in the back of the head and that he will be spoken to.

End of A Grade game Trinity runner gets king hit smashed in the face with a fist. We r told that it was Mitchell Parks B Grade coach #4. After he had hit our runner in the face he then didnt walk away but proceeded to ask and challenge who wanted to be next.

I really feel sorry for the guys at Mitchell Park that are decent people, but it doesnt say much for the club when after 1 game an official is saying the club doesnt condone that type of behaviour then straight after another game its the B Grade Coach (someone the club has appointed as a role model for the club) goes and does a disgraceful act like that!

Witht these incidents happening week after week, wouldn't you think the SAAFL would send an official out to watch Mitchell Park, and tell them to either shape up or they can leave the competition??

good tight game today for three quarters today with only 8 points the difference at the last break.trinitys last quarter was full of run and showed their class and fitness.well structured team and well drilled.like the ball outside but have some real size and if they use these big fellars right they will do well.well coached and played the game in great spirit.i wont go into the after game antics for i did not see them first hand so i have no right to comment but i believe the incident was filmed, and if that is the case i would suggest they send it straight to the league as long as it is not an edited tape!i have only one week left myself and cant wait to be able to watch some great finals footy

so big win from the roo boys today but they have left there run to late still some 3% behind lockleys and roos have heccies away next week while lockleys have mitchell park at home so looks like the the final five is set.. whats going on with clg they are crumbling in a big way or is it smart coaching and maybe resting some players before finals and hoping that they can improve on last years straight set efforts, but must be concerning that have lost there last two games by some 25 goals against sides below them on the ladder.there must be some panic in the camp because heccies right up there clacker and could steal 2nd spot if they have a good win against paralowie. you would think w croydon would be a real chance this week against clg at home.
