I heard earlier that this is the FIRST TIME IN TESTS that Englands middle order (3,4,5) have all been dismissed for single figures both innings of a test.

Hilarious.

They could strengthen their line up by seeing who's playing on the village green next door.

Nope, we'll see his red-cheeked, sooky little face staring with scared eyes as he prods one straight to the slips.

Scored 55 chasing a first innings lead in the first innings of the last test so he has proven himself quite handy with the bat really.

God a few people are quick to jump back on the bandwagon and rub the poms faces in it. Just remember this test will only make it 1 all. This series is well and truly up for grabs. A couple of big ins for England will help a lot and give them a very good chance. This series is far from over!!

Lol, Australia retain the Ashes with a drawn series. Who are these big ins you speak of? A crippled Flintoff who took how many wickets in the last test? Perhaps the 39 year old Ramprakash could come in as well?

Not sure if anyone's saying it's over. Personally I'm just loving the chance to crow after some horrible performances. Going to have to take every chance to do so in this brave new world of Aussie cricket.

Loving the fact we're heading in to the last test with it all to play for. Poms have a chance to regroup, we'll have some tough thinking for selection purposes at the Oval. Spinner? For who?

I'll back us in the last though.

Panesar may be considered for the Oval?
Hauritz could also be considered - the Oval is a turner and he might have to tandem with Clarke. The question is - who would be dropped for Hauritz if he was to come in?
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

Yes it is terrible that us Aussies are happy that our team is giving the Poms a spanking...

OK - a quick "Buns for runs" comp:

How many runs will the Poms make in total this innings?

Current score is 8/248.

I will say all out for 269

Clark is embarassing himself now. All the good work he did in the first innings is being undone now.

C'mon Rod, it's like being 25 goals up at lemon time and letting the opposition get the next 5 goals to win by 20 ... meaningless. ;)

Yep, all it shows is that he can get slapped when there's no pressure.

I think the selectors might just think of that suffocating seven overs before lunch, where it took 17 balls to score a single off him on the first day, before this bit.
