I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.

great win by the reds, with so many injuries and guys away its good to win a tough game against good opponents!
no bench in the last quater an the lads came from behind to win which is good to see.

fitzroy probably should have kicked us out of it in the 2nd quater but i think alot of the miss' were due to pressure as well.
would think that the Roys will get over pooraka this week, even with paradiso and coles back the roys seemed a better side imo. but will be interesting either way.

Round 18 Tips.

PAOC v Greenacres by 48 pts the Dragons have done well to stay up in Div 4 but the Red's are building momentum for finals.
North Haven v Golden Grove by 60 + pts the Magpies will have a better year in Div 5 next year but the Kooka's to sneak into the 5 & are a smokey if they really get going..
Salisbury West v CBCOC by 6 pts congrats to the Dolphins as they have wrapped up the minor flag but can they win thr Premiership? Tigers win to get home elimination final or away qualifying final...
Pooraka v Fitzroy by 6 pts Match Of The Round as the Bulls are finding form but so are the Lions must win for both sides....
Adelaide Lutheran v Unley by 30 pts the Doggie's will not stay in Div 5 too long & expect to see them back up in Div 4 in 2011 & the Jets have been competitive & avoided relagation again.....

Top 2 set but with 4 teams to fight out the last 3 spots in the round 18 makes a good finish to the home & away season.

CBCOC
PAOC
FITZROY
SAILSBURY WEST
GOLDEN GROVE

Pooraka
Greenacres
Unley
Adelaide Lutheran
North Haven
IT'S US AGAINST THEM!!!

Interesting RL. I would put it this way though:

PAOC V Greenies: PAOC 60+ way to much class
North Haven V GG: GG 60+ will throw everything they have at NH with the hope of making finals
Salisbury W V CBCOC: CBC 24 pts close game but can't tip against CBC until they lose a game.
Pooraka V Fitroy: Pooraka 24pts game of the round past players and sponsors day at the club, big crowd finals on the line, Pooraka will give it their all.
Adelaide Luth V Unley: Unley 30pts an improved Unley in 2009 should get the points here.

Final ladder:
CBCOC
PAOC
Pooraka
Fitzroy
Salisbury West

GG
Greenies
Unley
Adelaide Luth
NH

Its no wonder they are getting relegated then if they wil pay a hack to warm their bench.. will be a good challenge to see if he can get a kick in Div 5, something that has eluded him in Div 4.

Breaking news for anyone who is interested!!!!

Chris Motley, Daniel Miller, Sonny Gregan, Nick Pape, Eugene Warrior, Scott Behrens, Michael Hood are all leaving sals nth at the end of the year to go to the same un-named club.

Eugene warrior will also be the head coach of this club and he has already starting recruiting some players with rumours graham johncock may retire for the crows and join his best mate.

Can anyone please find out the club in question??

PHEW!! Lucky you cleared that up Artie!

Tips: PAC, GG, CBC, Fitz, AL

I think CBC for the flag, were unbelievable last week... even though we were very, very poor they never took foot off the gas and played some unbelievable footy! I think GG will sneak in the 5 at Pooraka's expense..
Bad luck for Pooraka but have lost to Nth Haven and Luth in 2nd half of season, so nobody to blame!

Did you leave you mouthguard in after training?

Modra no longer playing and Roo hurt his knee again tonight at training.....
