Been running WAY below par of late half due to not getting a start when nominated (so lack of race fitness) and half due to maybe having BRAIN FADE ISSUES! Have tried a couple different things to hopefully get his mind back on the job ready for Thursday Night.
Have to finish in the first 4 to make next weeks final i believe!

So in the end i am not as confident as i could be had i had the chance to give him the right preparation for this type of race.

Beware these heats as the form may not hold up
We had a lower grade 731 race on 3/8/09
But the last high grade 731 was run on 30/7
The better stayers have had almost 2 weeks without a distance run
That simply is not good enough leading into the National Distance heats
The only distance race of late was at Mt Gambier last saturday
BUDDYS BANDIT raced in a Victrian bush distance today [ran a fair 5th]

Great effort by Kimberley Jinx to win
I was wrong with this race as I felt 1+ 7 would be hard to beat
But did select the boxed trifecta

Been winning off my pet distance races since Ive been exclusively previewing them
Pity I didnt box up all the Trifectas

Got the final next week
Should be a bottler of a race

Ella Fair was scratched due to coming on season this morning.

Awesome Ryles will be heading for a decent spell as something just isn't right with him and i cant just keep racing him as its not fair on him. He is 2nd emergency for next weeks final but i think a thorough check and a nice rest and bring him back once the weather warms up.

BARELY'S IMAGE was a huge run tonight and Kimberley Jinx also very impressive.

Thats correct ROYAL RYLES was scratched due to splitting his webbing in a field trial Wednesday Night requiring 8 stitches. This is the litter brother of Awesome Ryles. Broke in much quicker but was very badly injured whilst in Sydney being trained by Jason Mackay. Has taken 17 months to get him back to the circle track so another few weeks wont really matter. Ran 31.08 in his first 500m trial run in 17 months so he is certainly showing he wasnt far off his best.
