Hes fighting with Salter for that spot and theres way more upside IMO with Salter. Ebert has failed for 2 seasons now, way too long. Pearce potential trade as Francou is right, he struggles with the tag. Burgoyne, Lade, Carr thanks but see ya. Pettigrew should be traded and would prob go alright in another side but has failed to improve at Port for a few years now. The club absolutely has to recruit a ready to go ruckman.

It would appear that Robbie Gray has taken Ebert's role as a small leading forward and doing pretty well at it. Ebert just doesn't seem to have another edge to his game. It's always hard for the forwards when the ball gets delivered in as poorly as it has this year and that could be why Ebert, Westhoffs X 2, Motlop and at times Tredders have struggled. I honestly think that with some serious skills improvements over summer to the majority of the squad and they could end up not being so bad as they are at the moment. In games Port has played well in, their skills have been very good, but in games/quarters where they have been terrible their skills have been the reason why IMO.

I'd give him a season at the Crows to see if his potential can be resurrected if he came cheaply.browny2323 wrote:Pettigrew can go
