A terrific second half by the lads today saw Gepps Cross run out winners by 15 points. A nervous first half from the Rams with some hesitant ball movement and poor disposal saw Gaza seemingly in control at the long break. With new found enthusiasm and some really precise movement forward after half time, the Gepps boys gained the upper hand due mainly to great contributions from Stengle, Jarrod Clark, Officer, Thompson, another great effort by Gavin Rose and the replacement for the injured McLean, David Savage, who gave some much needed spark to the Rams forward lines and finished off his work with 4 goals.
Looking forward to next week at home to Port Districts who are the big improvers over the last few weeks, the test will come to see who has the stronger will to play finals footy. It should be a "cracker"

Clark, Stengle and Offy were clearly the best three for you guys, all were excellent.

It's probaly also fair to say that a few of our blokes were "off their game" a bit so improvement can only make things better.

Great win by SHOCs. Was at the game, led by about 7 goals until ROCs got within 3 goals with 10 to play, but held on. Ex VFL player i believe Bayford dominated, ROCs and Modbury can count themselves unlucky to be relegated though.
