Top of the table clash between Pt Districts and Flinders Pk this week, hope the Magpies can kick straighter and turn around the 8 point defeat of the last game

Can anyone confirm if its a top 4 or 5? Heard suggestions last week it might be 4, which would make more sense

c5 and c6 will be top 4 only...1v2 3v4 winner 1v2 to gf winner of 3v4 play loser of 1v2....then winner to gf

the saafl publication has a top 5 - wouldn't it be a bit rude to change the structure during the season?

In the book it does say that eight team comps do play a top 4 - wait and see I guess !!!

Might make a call to them direct tomorrow !!!

From the SAAFL web site

Division C5 & C6 consist of 8 teams and therefore at the conclusion of the minor round the finals will be played with a Final Four.

The following dates are when the games will be played:

1st & 2nd Semi-Finals - Sunday 23rd August

Preliminary Final - Sunday 30th August

Grand Final - Saturday 5th September

Sailsbury have forfeited this week against Districts. Unless Flinders can drop a game there goes our chance of finishing top and possibly a home final.

yeah nice, seen that on the results, also seen you guys kicked a huge callington like score. Knock off Flinders next week and you'll get 2nd or Top, if we lose to Mitcham

very dissapointed with the modbury boys after their game hurling abuse at one player while they left on their bus shows real guts to do it while driving away.

All we heard was some jeering so lighten up !!!

Every one around was laughing cause all ya could hear from the bus was a whole of yeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyys and woooooooooooooooooooos.

I rekon they were over the loss pretty quick from what we could hear - plus you should should of seen all the players in the next game on the ground laughin cause there was so much noise.

Yes Districts blew a 20 odd point 3qtr time lead to lose by 4pts

Will be a very good game this week at Largs, good tough comp. Be interesting to see if Modbury can run over Districts. Good older players, not fit enough though!!
