Qual final -SMOSH to beat Walkies, 3-4 goals. Looks like SMOSH have got a few players back fit and firing just in time.
Elim final - PH to beat Iggies, 7-8 goals. Tyson named for Iggies, but cant play with a broken leg. Would make no difference anyway, PH too strong at home.
B grade -
QF - SPOC to beat PH, 5-6 goals
EF - SMOSH over Mitcham, 4-5 goals
Why not? We had a bloke with one arm play all year........
True, i dare say a leg is more important than an arm though...for footy anyway.
Correct, otherwise he'd just be running around in a circle all day - a bit like Port Power's game plan....

Spoc & Smosh in the twos should just get over the line.

I was chatting to Tys after the game, he didn't play and was struggling to just get around on his crutches.threestars wrote:Jimmy_041 wrote:Did the Iggies bloke with the broken leg play?
Yeah sat in the goalsquare. Kicked a couple of goals.

in the magoo's, Mitcham wanted the win alot more then what smosh did, they were willing to chase, create options and work hard, while Smosh seemed a little lazy, smosh only played a quarter and half of football and if they had of played 4 quarters would easily have accounted for Mitcham. Bad luck to Schimma. cant see Mitcham going much further in the finals race though.
Schimma, had of Damon played, would it have made a big difference?? seemed you had no one but the big bloke (Guy?) up forward and he was off his games at times more worried about the biff, and his kicking was a bit of a let down.
A big bloke like him IMO would have really helped you blokes!
The main game was a good game, SMOSH kicked first six and it looked like they were going to run all over Walkerville, but to walkervilles credit, they just worked away at a big bodied SMOSH side. Number 13 I think it was for walkerville was the main reason his pressure kept walkerville in the game early, otherwise it may have been 10 goals.
Nick martin was excellent for SMOSH I thought, breaking tackles and getting the ball forward to Cakebread who if he hadnt of played, may have been a different result. Brad Karamanov was aslso excellent for SMOSH, is and has always been a great player, in years to come I can see him being similar value to Netchowski. A hard bodied in and under midfielder. skills may be a little bit of a let down though.
what did other people think??
