wow thats a teribble score line for a final 2nd vs 3rd and the difference is 26 goals

Mate, that's a close one for up that way!

It was one win a piece during the season and I know the Deez rated themselves a good chance on Saturday. Just didn't go to script for them.

Ashby to Nairne?

Apparently the Nairne coach offered Mick an obscene amount of money after the game. That coaches phone number is in a Kersbrook Oval bin somewhere, Ashby wont be leaving and he certainly wont leave to another Hills club. Good on Nairne though, try to poach players from other Hills clubs.

Shortman, you should get your facts correct champ. If Mick is looking to move on we would be more than happy to sit down & have a chat. No one from our club approached him including the coach to discuss next season. At the moment we're focussing on the road ahead and this weeks finals.

I heard quite a diffrent story Shortman, I heard it was Ashby who approached the Nairne coach and asked if he would be coaching there next year and if so he was keen to play there.

Im just telling you what I heard. Of course if im proven to be incorrect I shall seek an explanation from those who told me what they heard and apologise without question. I think most clubs would like to have a crack at getting Mick to their club next season but he atleast appears very happy in black and white and whilst contracts mean little where we are...... he is a required player in 2010.

Maybe you should ask your coach how Asby ended up with your coaches card adn the figure of $750 a game at Nairne

Perhaps the nairne coach should be a little bit careful about giving his phone number out and where it goes could end up in the wrong hands

Wot a lot of Crap...some of you guys have got no idea...if you where observant after the game u would have seen wot happened..typical of some of you guys..

perhaps it reflects on the the club you follow and the lack of professionalism at that club..grow up..use your brian (if u have one) and use this forum for constructive comments ( which I doubt u could make!)

"A little bit careful...end up in the wrong hands" - what the hell does that all mean? If a player indicates he wants to join our club we would be irresponsible not to follow up. Mick has our coaches number so if he is serious then he will call, if not then maybe he is playing mind games. One things certain, Damian has been reappointed as senior coach of the rams for 2010 and the boys are looking forward to this weeks games.

Nairne would be feeling a little confident as Echunga is still yet to win a Finals game under Bawden. Are the Rams back to full strength yet?

If youre gonna have a crack about intelligence at least be able to spell a bit and actually use proper words instead of 15 year old text slang. Plenty of professionalism at our club too thanks.

As for Mick leaving I wouldnt be so sure. Plenty of clubs offered him more money than what we did this year so obviously its not all about that for him. He seems very happy with us but I guess all could change over the long off season.

Now moving onto this week. I reckon Echunga's streak of losing finals will continue at Mt Pleasant on Sunday. Nairne played with plenty of intensity on the weekend and from all reports Echunga were the exact opposite, albeit against a very very good side. The only thing will be the weather and their tall forwards. This weather will also see Kersbrook straight into the GF. The wet weather specialists will show the Million Dollar men a thing or two and win by 3-4 goals.

Yeh we offered him $750 a game, we also pay Twomey $750 a game, Luke Percy $750 a game, Ben Arbon $750 a game.
Of course everyone else gets paid every week and it is funded by the Nairne Market, our major sponsor who have heaps of cash to throw around.
