Thanks for all the well wishers and (good) words of advice...

Not sure whether I'll do the speeches from something prepared or just speak from the heart on the night...

My mate got married earlier in the year and spoke from the heart. Only problem is, he's a straight up kind of guy...

His wife's maiden name is Gibbons, so everyone calls her Gibbo, and in his speech, he kept it nice and simple...

"I'd like to thank Gibbo for being a top chick" !!!

Everyone pi$$ed themselves laughing including the bride, but I'll go into a bit more detail than that I would suggest !!

Good luck BP

Write down a list of words as prompts but speak from the heart - much better

My experience tells me the second marriage is better than the first, my suggestion would be to make this a short marriage and get straight on to the second.

Best of luck, enjoy the day. Put disposable cameras on each table so you get lots of photos. You may even get some photos that are not of your mates kn0bs.

It wasn't me, someone I know did it.

Wasn't at the Orphanage was it? (I had the misfortune of standing between the Spewer and the bar at a wedding there)

Best of luck Big Phella, just do what you've done up until now mate, enjoy the company of your other half ... If that doesn't work, beer and porn is an easy fall back.

Someone earlier said "happy wife, happy life". Along that line..

I've got one serious piece of advice - if there's ever a conflict twixt your wife and your mother, stick with the wife. Even if you think she's wrong. Mothers forgive so much easier than missusses. ;)

Good luck!

Just dont fall back on the beer while watching the porn. Could make for an embarrassing entry to the Emergency Department.

Try not to mention that good looking bloke you used to play footy with at Golden Grove who also used to bomb three pointers over you at Marden on a Wednesday night otherwise she may not turn up..... ;)

Good luck Adro !!! ;) Enjoy the day mate...
I love grapes. With grapes, you always get another chance. You know, if you have a crappy apple or a peach, you’re stuck with that crappy piece of fruit. If you have a crappy grape, no problem-just move on to the next. ‘Grapes: The Fruit of Hope.
