Any truth to the rumour that there is a wedding on this weekend up on the gold coast that a number of houghton players are attending? pr*ck of a time to call a wedding if its true....unsure on the reliability of the source......

that's a rumour that has been going around the traps for a while now. Q man is denying it (of course he would) but it seems to be gathering momentum. if it is the case then they will lose to Henley, then i hoipe St Pauls beat the Raggies to set up a Houghton V St Pauls Prelim!!!
Now that will be an absolute mammoth game with the rivalry these two have had this year, only prob for me is i'll be in Melbourne so i won't see it...

Preaching to the converted here mate. Lucky they are fringe players and can be easily replaced.

It's only a couple of players. We have a squad of about 27-28 players all fighting for a finals game, and those that get the opportunity to play this week will be pretty hungry to keep their spot.

The way HDFC & SPOS have been running a soap opera over the last few weeks shows why they both should stay in Div7 and grow up.

Well B20, if a soap opera has been run after just 2 minor round games....imagine the war if they met in the prelim and one knocked the other out of the finals race.....in fact just imagine the game itself! :axe:

makes me salivate with anticipation... well not quite but it does shape up to be a big one, just imagine though if Houghton knock Henley off and St Pauls beat Athelstone, THEN St Pauls beat Henley...
