Northern Wolves were in Div 2 last season, but this season I believe they are nominating two teams in the proposed new one-day grade.
I doubt very much that the association would have a womens comp in the foreseeable future.

go alright the wolves but depend quite heavily on wally hand. Couple of alright bowlers as well, dominated div 3 in their 1st season but were more even last season in div 2

Bloody bouncer can answer that better than I, but his gun season was the season before. He missed quite a few games the season gone.
He plays in our A grade which plays in Div 1.

He played in a div 7 Grand Final 3 years ago against us, he single-handedly won the game for them, bowled 20+ overs and scored half of their runs, he had hardly played in that div all year, it just so happened their higher grade made the finals and they had open selection, their A's got knocked out in the semi though.

There is no doubt that he will read this. But its fair to say Chad likes to come on at the end and take all the stingy wickets in the tail. ;)

He bowled pretty much all day, he came off once and we got on top of his replacement so that didn't last long. It was a bit of a kick in the guts for us seeing as though we beat them outright by an innings and a heap of runs in the 2 dayer and they forfeited the 1 dayer against us, we never lost a game all year then lost the GF, we had 2 of our best players injure themselves playing in a footy trial the week before the GF.
In hindsight, probably better for the economy that they did win, I heard they partied pretty hard at PJ O'Briens, I don't think we would've matched their effort.
Good to see him still going though, pretty handy cricketer.

Does Lee Penrose ever don the whites for Fitzroy? He was pretty handy with the bat and gloves in his day.

I think it would be good if we could start getting the clubs to look at their playing lists and start organising names and numbers for a possible u/21s side this season...

BB you looked pretty shaky in the nets against one particular bowler. Quite indecisive :o

You were hitting them well though... allbeit off my bowling they were going straight to the fielder at cover ;)

mate......i pulled my groin on the fist cover drive i played off your poo.....such was the force of that shot. Wouldnt have been a fielder in any grade of team that would have stopped it....straight off the middle of a freshly oiled bat.
