had a sense late in the 2nd that a couple of plympton forwards may have thought the game was under control, lost a bit of focus and tried to intimidate the pulteney defenders after a couple of goals were kicked.
think plympton may have only kicked 1 pt in the second half. they seemed to have control until half way through the third and then all of a sudden pulteney's game came together. silvy stood up i thought.
either side would have been unlucky to lose. pulteney just gutsed it out and maybe the week off helped given the conditions.
in drier conditions i think pulteney have got the game and discipline to win the big one.
plympton v westminster will be a corker next week.
probably at st marys as plympton cant have a home finals. that might favour westminster as they play a big ground well.
Westminster will have more of a chance this time around IMHO it would be tough for Plymton to back up after today's conditions. Also I think the record of Prelims isn't that flash either
