So it could be:

Jeff Brown (Central's reserves coach)
Mark Tylor (Port reserves coach)
Paul Jarvis (Sturt's reserves coach)

Mick Godden (Glenelg reserves coach) is off to the NT so it can't be him...

Or it could be any of the Under 18's coaches whose sides are playing finals (Tony Bamford at Port, Grant Coffee at Centrals spring to mind)

But is more than likely to be...

Mark Jeffries, current Eagles reserves coach

He's been mentioned before ... Mick Godden ... but he's signed to go to NT after the GF this year.

The latter 2 seem to be the only ones who fit the veiled winks and nods provided over the course of this thread.

Bit like a game of chess this.

I know one person named in this post(not by wycbloods) is seeking to change his job from one AFL club to another .He's not interested in an SANFL job and he is continually mentioned in this topic!!!

The only people who know work out of OVAL AVE !!!

Believe what you wish but i have pm a few people on here with the answer and no doubt they can produce the message when it comes true.

Lets just say with what a majority of eagles fans have posted as what they would like in there new coach this bloke ticks nearly every box.

I think its now a race in 4 , with only one from over the border and 3 locals . A decision maybe even tomorrow , but who knows how long the Board will try and keep it under wraps ! I have been told again that the quality is a nice fit for what the club was after ........

They wouldn't release the name until the Club has finished in the finals IMHO.

My tip is the announcement will be made before 21/9/09.

Whether the Eagles are still in the finals or not.

North at the end of the year can point the finger at their draw (as well as other factors). They have been playing now for nine weeks without a break. Every other club has had every other finals side has only played for four weeks tops.

I don't think it can be N. Bassett as it was annonced on 7 news, that he is going to be the Norwood coach even if it hasn't officially called by Norwood yet.

My mail is Bassett is pretty close to be over the line at Norwood, and that (as mentioned previously), Godden is the next Eagles coach - I've had this from two very knowledgable sources now.

As with all rumours, I guess we just wait and see, but I think MG will indeed be at Oval Avenue next year.

Didnt he sign with the NTFL already.

So if 7 is correct its Basset to Norwood
Godden to Eagles
Bamford to Port
