Whispers of Jacques going to or perhaps even coaching Onkas. Slattery to take over the reigns as coach of TV, with GH sliding back to a 'Mick Malthouse on Nathan Buckley' role.

Slatts to coach ?? Well then, TV might just win a GF if that happens. They played their best footy this year when he coached them in GE's absense.

Hodges seemed like a pretty good bloke when I've met him in the past NM . Was obviously a champion footballer in his time, but we wouldnt be looking at him as a player. Any ideas what he is like as a coach?

if mitchell doesnt work out, maybe mt.barker should consider johnno? ;)

He'd be a good option for them if they were to ask him in a couple of years time.

I'm suggesting you might want to look at what the guy has done in his footy career, both SANFL & AFL, he knows the caper better than most.

Then again Tim Watson did a lot in the VFL/AFL as a player under Kevin Sheedy, but he didn't coach very well at S**t Kilda!

It's the brains you have, not the pedigree you earned.

Could the change in fortune at Kangarilla over the last couple of years be attributed to the departure of 'glue guy and funny man' J. Makai?

I heard he's single handedly taken his new club to a GF appearance tommorrow (from Full Back) not a bad effort that.

When GH takes his cheque book away from TV, it'll actually be quite sad how dramatic the drop will be

Will be interesting to see if this is the case as the feeling in the rooms afterwards was there was going to be at least 3 or 4 moving on but I suppose time will tell.

I didn't get a chance to watch this years grand final and I was just wonderin
if the reason why TV lost was the same as last year.....?
Duane Hughes... In last years grand final he had 2 kicks. One out on the full and one turn over.
In my opinion he is the reason they lost. Its like playing with 17 men on the ground when
He is on. besides G.E Hughes not beibg able to coach Was he the difference this year?

Good for them and the comp but hopefully they don't bring the baggage that some of this season's crew brought.
