no real shockers there, and i realise they probably tried to get one from all teams in but if you ask any full forward in the comp who is the hardest 1on1 fullback to play on i reckon most would say todd jones from PAOC. and tbh i have no idea who hall is but i cant see how a team that came 3rd last has a backman in the team.

Apparently a CBCOC bloke was on 5AA this week bitching about the Roo playing......

was it on the saafl show??

just watched grass roots. nice t-shirt FC.
few points.
1/ mods played 3a's 1c's this year. and couldnt play due to injury.
2/ roo didnt take anyones spot in the GF the extra bench player countered for that.
3/ PAC knew all year he would play 5-7 games and then finals as FC said. and he went out of his way to make sure he was avalible for all those! the bloke has a wrecked knee and still fronts for us when he can!
and im sure were he avalible he'd play more.
4/ CBC you had a great year and fell short, it happens god knows ive been in the position before. the stuff on ur website and on the radio is just in poor taste imo.
blokes like pooch and albie who are brilliant guys surely wouldnt be bitching about roo playing! so the commitee or whoever it is need to cop the loss and move on with the success you had during the year.

I wasn't supposed to be on the show this week but got a last minute call up - had I had more time I would have grabbed a couple more premiership shirts and worn one for each quarter

I love "Mummy Man" in the song at the end - he looked very comical - almost like a muppet

I hope Coco was watching, he would've been happy with that effort

Pretty sure we haven't bitched about Roo at all. No where have I seen anything mentioned or stated about Roo on our website.

I heard the bloke on 5AA his name was David and I have no idea who he is, if I knew who he was I would've told him to shut up.

Have intentionally not responded to all of the crap that has been spoken since Saturday as any response would have been seen as sour grapes. But I wont put up with our club being slandered for no good reason. Every club has one eyed people supporting it.

The fact is Roo played, you won, we've moved on. Bring on the Div3 forum.

His reason for ringing was to say that Roo had become a joke in his eyes because he had decided to play lowly division 4... His call was pathetic really and held about zero credibility...

I would have had Andy Phillips - could only make interchange in the team, but 2nd in the medal, but as a 2nd choice, Bourke; both lead by example - both were fantastic this year along with Douglas from CBC
