My early tips are for Millsy and Jon Smith to have big years with the willow, Scooter to top the wicket-takers if he plays all matches and Plucca to be in the Top 5 bowling aggregate too if batsmen play for spin once again... ;) 8)

Dont worry herder if you wanna see more para vi$ta shit disappear, don the whites and bowl to the phantom... :P

My top four will be in no particular order Para Vi$ta, Fitzies, Mawson Lakes North and North Eastern Knights. The beauty of Div 1 this year (and prob last year too) is there's 4 or 5 genuine contenders.

Churchbet has the following odds : As of September '09

Para Vi$ta $1.00001 ....
Pawawowie $2.99 With new recruits would surely have to be around the mark
North East $3.50 Batting really strong, Bowling rely on 2 gun bowlers
Fitzies $3.50 Autoless but still in the hunt

Lutheran $6.00 Should be pushing for a finals berth
Methos $8.00 have lost some players so a bit of an unknown team

wow i'll have some of north eastern odds at $3.50!

i'm clearly a bit tighter than you mine would be as folllows

vi$ta $1.64
north eastern $ 2.25
fitzroy $ 3.10
paralowie $ 3.55

lutheran $ 7.00
methos $ 11.00

C'mon Carey, surely your not taking the underdog status. 4000 new recruits this year and you reckon your 4th favourite? Turn it up. You blokes would be on the top line with Vi$tas. ....Paralowie $1.64

And also wheres your ground for your c/d grades?

Should there be a club trophy for the best performed club over the year? Amateur Footy has one, not sure how its calculated tho.

this was a suggestion at the AGM.
it was an overwhelming " NO GO " on this initiative.
Rightly so i say. Anyone who cares about a minor premiership may as well stay home an knit booties for their kittens.

I believe Prince Alfred OC won it this year from St Peter's OC and Henley & PHOS Camden tied for 3rd.

Could be totally wrong but i think Prince Alfred won it. And before you pass out with your arse out BB its not a trophy for a minor premiership its based on a clubs total performance. Maybe Carey could add to this discussion as captain of an amatuer footy club he may have more knowledge on the subject.
PS. BB... you suck

the club champion system works on a points basis across all your clubs grades more points being awarded for the A grade and then on a sliding scale down to your lowest side but there are clear problems with the system as last year a c5 (SAAFL) side in ovingham won it when from memory there were 3 clubs with 3 sides in grand finals (eatsern park, flinders park and possiably golden grove i cant really remember) so how can a side with 1 C grade team win it when 3 sides had there A,B and C grade sides all in g/f's?

see my point?
