4 DOWN 5 TO GO FOR MacGOWAN

All discussions to do with the SANFL

Postby Wedgie » Tue Oct 17, 2006 3:07 pm

There's a very relieved Sturt supporter at my work who used to know Brodie quite well, he was resigned to Sturt dying if Brodie took over the reigns.
I'd be suprised if Rick didn't pull a few players that might suprise a few people as players he's worked with over the last few years have a heap of respect for the guy.

I would have liked to seen him stay at the Eagles, but good luck to him at Sturt - he did well with the Reserves this year. :)

Some of them might be whingers but at least we talk about our club's issues out in the open for all to see.

If you're talking about http://www.rocketrooster.com its open for all to see and has been for 99% of its life.
And if you've got a query as to why it was a private forum (like snouts louts) for less than 1% of its life you can pm me or read the explanation I've already posted on this site.
If you're not which club fan site are you talking about and what's it got to do with BPRBPPRBP? (You've brought it up twice now, I let the first one go through to the keeper)

Just sounds like a general comment Wedgie, perhaps you're getting overly defensive...?

Not overly defensive ElizabethVCRThief, just curious.
Just thought he might be referring to The Roost since BRPPBBP is a North fan and if he was I thought I'd just point out he's ill informed as I like keeping people up to date.
If he isn't then its all good but a weird thing to say twice in response to BRPBPRPPBPBB.
Good call about being possibly a general comment as both the Snoutslouts site and Footysa are "hidden" and Campbell doesn't allow direct linking to the Centrals forum but hardly something that would affect BRPPBBRPBP.

Best of luck Rick. Seems a reasonable decision by Sturt - he has a good record and background of success but anyone untested at this level is a bit of a gamble I guess. I can't think of any reason not to be positive about it though. I just hope he walks into Jack's Bar, is hit in the face by the general air of despair before clicking his fingers and going "Aha! I know exactly how to fix this!". Or am I asking too much?

Gee all you Roosters fans just can't help taking pot shots at Brodie, FFS get over it. It's so tiresome.

Why not? I've often wondered why they are the only club without a link.... :?: :?: :?:

Dunno, bandwidth issue I think. Campbell's not receptive to visitors either. :?

Wasn't he involved at Norwood in 2005, so with this announcement this will be his 5th out of 9??.....not a bad effort for a lad from Darke Peake.

Don't think so, are you perhaps remembering that he was the Assistant Coach (or coach of the first game that night) to Dale Lewis in the North/Norwood v Crows game?
