And both games were decided by less than a kick.
Spelly, has a minor premier ever gone out like this so narrowly?

None of the other three in the final five format did. Port in 1982 lost by 19 and 1 point.

Are you to blame for recruiting Grima as well?

Has Grima cost Glenelg two premierships?

Central have won 7 flags in 9 seasons. You'd think their supporters would be able to overcome this obsession with Grima wouldn't you?

Why should they the way he opened his mouth up last year?
If I was a Central fan I'd be reminding him of that for the rest of his life.
Christ if Port supporters can remind me for 18 years about the 89 GF in a game I didn't play in nor open my mouth about beforehand (they all went quiet in 07 thank christ) then surely Dogs fans can hold onto this for at least a few years! ;)

If they survive that long judging by the fall out from the 119 game. I'm surprised any Port fan can mouth off these days, must be quiet in the old town.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Being beaten by one of the best teams in the modern era has no shame attached to it, sure the margin was/is embarrasing and at the moment Port fans dont have alot to smile about. That will change though.

Proud of the past, confident of the future.

Would have thought if anybody had an understanding of what it is like to be at rock bottom it would be a Sturt supporter.

You're the confused one mate, we were talking about 2 different club but the same group of supporters, I certainly wouldn't put any shit on the Magpies club for what their bastard child did in the big dance! Only the supporters of both. :)
Those Magpies fans who didn't start following the new Power business in 1997 have every right to still have a go about 89. That I can handle as they're the Port supporters I respect and I usually see them at Alberton every year.
We digress though Booney, to keep the thread on track PM me if you have any more confusion. :)
