Geddes - another of these players who unfortunately sits in between a midfielder i.e. too small for key position and too slow/can't find the ball to be a midfielder.

I'm sure he'll make a very good amateur league player.

But he (along with 7-8 other playres) needs to be released for next year if we are to progress

My only query is if we get rid of 7-8 players who do we replace them with .The under 18's surely aren't ready for league just yet.

I'd let Hicks and Wright go. Don't think they should be getting league games in a decent side.

Geddes had an injury interrupted year. I still think he has potential to be a good league player if he has a big pre-season.

Fitzgerald - I don't know what happened to him. I expected him to step up and become on of our better league players, but for lack of opportunity, injury or otherwise, he never got a chance. Hopefully he addresses this over pre-season and becomes the good league player he should be in 2010.

What's the story with Dawson? Only saw one full ressies game (the one at Thebby) and he spat the dummy that game - his attitude was terrible. Mind you, he was played in every position on the field (including ruck) and was taken off or swapped around at least 3 times per quarter...

Dawson got injured at a Power training session towards the end of the season, ankle I think and did a pretty good job of it apparently.
Trust the process.

You could be correct about Couch
And I think with a better thinking coach Cheep could get used correctly

As we have seen in his BOG performance against South this year, on the wing.

Until he puts his head over the ball in every contest, no coach will be able to use Cheep correctly.

Depends if PhilH and I have another waiger on the first Central v Eagles game in 2010. Could be quite possible that Central will find themselves with a new 'dual club' member next season !!

Time will tell Bayman, time will tell ;)

Here's a thought Holden78 reduced Salary cap thanks to the AFL!!
But yep I agree by the way we need to recruit some players not big names but guys in the age group not to get drafted by the afl

Port have traded Mitch Farmer for Jay Schultz, so there's our full forward recruited when Salter isn't there ( i can't see Schultz getting too many games for Port by the way Salter and Broadbent have been treated so far). ;) And for free, too.
