Actually Rose Pink AND Magenta were both colours used in Port's uniform of past years.
Completely different colours and different uniforms.

I for one think the Port Adelaide Football Club should make a bid to enter the AFL (formerly the VFL) and adopt a colour similar to a pale blue, for arguments sake, let's call it teal.I think this colour, along with the addition of some players of recent VFL/AFL experience could propel Port Adelaide to a premiership in the premier competition in the land.

CENTURION wrote:yeah but what logo would they adopt? Being a new team, something electrifying so that they make you excited! Hmmm...

Whatever they come up with lets hope it doesn't have a vertical clenched fist. That would be far too easy to defile with the strategic replacement of anatomical parts.

Bright colours for fans to wear.

North, Red, already doing it.

Port, black's not bright, so wear White

Eagles, Yellow/Gold

Glenelg, as per Eagles

South, as per Port

Norwood, as per North

Sturt, Teal Blue

West, as per North

Centrals, either Red or White

With the exception of Eagles, Glenelg and Sturt, the crowds should look great at all other North games

Agree.

As little as possible it's only currently used against Norwood, South, Centrals & Sturt. I would actually like the gold used as an away strip = at least 8 times a year possibly 10. I also believe in the idea of having all teams having an alternate or away strip. I'm a big fan of our gold guernsey. 8)

This might be blasphmeous, but liked the look of the Centrals 70's guernsey. Have a blue one with green and yellow across the top, and a yellow one with blue and green across the top for when the guernseys clash.

Given our predominant colour is dark blue how does this make sense?
