Let's also consider the fact that it clashes with Bathurst next year...

oh shit, i didnt even think of that, and we were planning about 4 or 5 carloads of people to go up to the mountain, unless Centrals are clear spooners by round 10 that probably wont be happening.
probably wont know till late september what the Dogs are doing, and it will be hard to book around that time.
will have to miss Bathurst the 2nd year in a row probably, and choose another round to go to.

Before changing to sunday grannies, Bathurst was always the day after the grand final anyway.

yeah but atleast then, you could still fly to Sydney and drive to Bathurst, if you really wanted to go.

Let's just hope that with more promotion and two big-drawing teams, there will be a better GF turnout than there has been for the past few years. The potential is still there to get 35k+, would be nice to see that sort of crowd again.

And Thank God for ABC2, because I can finally watch SANFL and WAFL action on the telly. Something FOX Footy really should have given us.

A bigger crowd would be in attendance on a saturday.......saturday is the day for footy and the grand final.
Too fast to live, too young to die.
