Christ, I feel lucky.

I'm used to DLS after a few days!

Whilst the community is predominately old people things will never change unfortunately. :(

Also another downer which doesn't affect me now is when I used to play cricket, daylight savings meant another hour of training every Tuesday and Thursday night. It sucked. Think of the hours I would save and could do other things in all those hours I missed when training instead. :(

Sadly i think its more than just old people. All my friends are all for dls. funnily enough my folks hate it. they rise at 5am every day (albiet voluntarily) and love it to be light.

my only negative at the moment is the light waking u early

"Baby on board". Why dont you put a sign on ur car saying "adult on board" or "car stereo in use"?

I love daylight savings, and hope that it stays forever.

I don't have any problem with the current setup either, leave it how it is I say!

Someone doesnt want his curtains to fade/cows to wake up too early...

I'd have daylight savings go for about 7 months instead of 6,ie; start a month earlier and finish at the same time... i hate waking up at sparrows fart every morning...which i have been doing for the past month or so, and it means one can do more in the evening

This confuses me, you hate waking up at a sparrows fart, you do realise you'd have to wake up an hour earlier when daylight savings starts?

well in theory you dont, hence why we push our clocks forward

what i meant to say though is that i hate waking up with the freakin sun beaming through my window... and anyone who suggests i should pull my blind down (which i already do AND have those heavy blockout curtains) can go forth and multiply.....

so let me get this straight, you hate waking up at a sparrows fart and prefer to wake up an hour before a sparrows fart?

It really needs to start a couple weeks earlier and finish a couple weeks earlier.

If the state agrees in principle to have daylight saving, then what is the point of sunrise being at 5:20am at the moment :?:

The party animals and old people will always disagree on daylight savigns but i think we can all agree on that point.
Its quite ridiculous at the moment and makes no scientific sense.

I can grasp it very well, I just prefer going to bed later and getting up later where you like getting up early and going to bed earlier.
There's nothing to grasp, you're obviuosly just a morning person and I'm a night person. I need all the sleep I can get these days. ;)

I love it and also hope it stays forever. I've lived in a few countries that have it and it's accepted. I would hate to lose it.
