Been a "late scratching" from the apparel licensee race, Number CS selected to run but pulled out at the last minute. The field is now back to 6 runners.

It's their perogative isn't it.
Just saying that it would be hard when your reps aren't primarily based in the state. If they want to run out of sports stores, etc then they may hamstring themselves a bit, but they must have done the sums before applying for the licence.

Its no wonder CS pulled the pin. With no guarantees, no support, no help and nothing from Shadiac and Co. its no wonder they pulled the pin.....I am suprised another 2-3 didnt do the same ?
The License is a fast, the SAAFL know it, the clubs know it, but no-one has the balls to say anything about it.
My club for 1, will buy its jumpers from who we chose to.
Funny that 1 of the current suppliers, has allready offered us cheaper jumpers if we pay cash, so they dont have to pay the rebate....

Thanks Aceman. Why would the SAAFL introduce interstate businesses into a SA based License ???
Surely there are enough SA based businesses who make footy stuff to deal with, without giving business to interstate competitors. I say make the SAAFL License, only for SA Based business as a whole.
SportsCentre, IDM, Graphpak, Custom Corporate ?, Jacks Sport and the new one i have heard of who i think do the 36rs JS Clothing?
Surely all these guys could do the job ??

Although they are well known in NSW, you're right no-one here knows them.
To help with their brand recognition, they signed up in 2009 as a major sponsor of SANFL, and so have signage at AAMI under concourse areas and members.

In 2009 all our state teams wore their gear. The tracksuits are OK, but the guernseys had really small numbers on the back that you could hardly read from the boundary.
