They'll go to any lengths, wont they? Anyhow, dime a dozen those blokes. ;)
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

Yep simon has left westies to go with mick at the eagles. I am sure Gatesy has left the bays with Mick and will be an assistant or be his runner.

Gatesy is having the year off. Strict instructions from his missus.
So you've seen everything have you?
Yep
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?
No
Well you haven't seen everything then have you.

Surprised that Craig Smith has been named Reserves coach as I thought that it would have been Terry Hutton. Maybe he turned it down and wanted to stay with the 18s.

I was a bit surprised with the appointmentg of Craig Smith. What role did he have last year? I think he was involved with the U16s at the Eagles wasnt he?

Yes, this is from the email that Micky Godden sent to all the Eagles members...

"Craig Smith has been elevated from his role as U/16 Coach and U/18 Assistant in 2009, to the position of Reserves Coach for the 2010 season.

Craig has been rewarded for the fantastic work he did for the Club in 2009 with his undoubted strength being his ability to educate and develop. The Club views the position of Reserves Coach as vital in a player’s pathway to League Football and in Craig we believe we have secured someone who will be genuinely focussed on the growth of our players as well as the result".

I didn't hear anything about him getting the boot, he's a nice guy, he's like most coaches, when you do something wrong, there would be yelling and some thumping in the coaches box and the like.

hey holden78, wake up to yourself and stop bagging Ron, it wasn't his fault they played sh!t. I would be questioning the board for being weak.
One thing Woodville/West Torrens have always had a weak board since the crows came in.......

maybe you should apply for the board and make some good decissions re recruiting......

I heard a rumour yesterday that the Eagles are getting a few players from both Glenelg and South (Have played league). Not sure who they are but Craig Parry would be handy.
